My biggest problem is he's not a DM and if he's being forced to be as one it's to the detriment of the team, he just doesn't have the awareness to play the position effectively and thus it leaves a huge imbalance to the team.

I don't see how pre season is the indication he will start like Ryder is assuming, Anita has started just as often as Colback has. He most likely will but i really fail to see how pre season is the indication as to why.

I call bullshit on the square pegs in square holes speech from McClaren if he plays Colback as the deepest midfielder and Sissoko on the wing tbh. That's two players in the wrong positions right off the bat.

I'm annoyed because he showed more in that stretch of games last year than Colback and Anita ever have as a DM, since recovering from injury he has never had a chance to prove that he can do that consistently and now he's being shipped out. Which leaves us stuck with either Anita or Tiote as actual DMs as Colback never is one and if we force Colback there we will be crap.

I'd rather buy real quality which can start rather than squad players just because they are better than the crap we have.

Aye he's cheaper than Hazard as well I kind of want Man Yoo to sign a striker and Kane to repeat last year's success as he's cheaper than Rooney. But as of right now Rooney is who i'm going with.

Currently going with Ozil, Wijnaldum, Aarons, Depay and Hazard in midfield although i'll probably swap out Hazard for Sanchez when he's available and Ozil for Walcott/Sterling depending on what one starts the season better once i use the wildcard post transfer window.

For us to get away with that a few things need to happen; the signings need to be top class quickly, Coloccini needs to be decent and Aarons really needs to have a breakout season. All seems a bit too much of an ask IMO.
