Looks like it. He got West Ham to the FA Cup final then got sacked 6 months later. He won the FL Trophy at Southampton then got sacked 5 months later.

They won't get Guardiola till the summer so they are really looking at someone to take them till the end of the season. Who would be stupid enough to do that? Still can't believe this has happened, bloke i work with told me earlier on and thought he was taking the piss.... obviously not. Perhaps with Abramovich i should have expected this to happen but still didn't see it coming at least not this early.

When i watch them they seem to attack the ball really well in comparison our players seem frightened of it

Tbf Shakhtar have a far superior goal difference as well even if Chelsea won it's quite unlikely they would better Shakhtar's goal difference. Anyway it's blatant the Shakhtar and Juve game will be a draw

Honestly we need a working system and style of play that suits our players more than new players IMO.

They won the CL because of Cech and he kept them in it at 0-0 and 1-0.

If anything they have been lucky its not more All 3 of Juve's midfielders have been f*cking class.

Messi doesn't really work that hard anymore i don't see him press nowhere near as much as he use to. Neymar would have to though, Barca can get away with Messi standing there waiting for the ball or dropping deep trying to get it but they can't have their wide players not pressing. But when i watch him for Brazil he usually does press off the ball when they lose it so i don't think thats the concern. My worry would be can Messi and Neymar be a partnership that works..... Villa and Messi works even if Villa doesn't score as much because the understanding is perfect of when to go in behind and when to drop deep etc etc. If Neymar and Messi get similar understanding then everyone is f*cked tbh

It's not just the goals though he has looked impressive every time i have seen him.

I would feel the same if he had not carried that form on to the international stage....In fact his record for Brazil is ridiculous considering his age.

I see you have forgotten the Everton game where Perch was raped so hard he had to move positions Perch is better technically but that's where he stops, Simpson is much better defensively i use to feel the same way but the amount of times i have seen Perch at RB this season and perform badly has made me change my stance. It's not like he offers anything going forward either.

Aye that's my concern if he goes i want to see an improvement being brought in and quite frankly i'm not confident of it happening. It's all well and good saying i hope he goes but really what's the point if we don't replace him properly.

Outside of 6 months of insane form there's nothing to suggest that tbh. He is playing under a team that suits him now as well and he's still struggling. Think what he was going through under Hughton before we sold him was just a purple patch tbh. He'll get some goals but he does bring other valuable assets too, he's decent in my book. Aye he's a typical target man he's never going to get loads of goals IMO but he will assist and create space for others.

Yeah tbh i'm more concerned about getting the tactics and system and overall game plan to work first. No matter who we buy they will struggle to perform under Pardew at the moment. Sort out the tactics and playing style first then buy players to suit those tactics and playing style, surely that's one of the first rules of coaching
