Aye that was really pisses me off as well, the main reason they are weak in some areas( as for CL success is concerned anyway) is because f*cking Mancini spunked all the money on 20 forwards. If you actually managed the squad properly and bought what you needed maybe you wouldn't need to buy anyone ffs what a t***. Mancini has bought 3 forwards; Dzeko, Balotelli and Agüero. During that same time he's sold at least twice as many You know what i meant lol, their squad is very unbalanced although full of quality and that's down to Mancini.

Aye, Fellaini is mint. Fellaini would have made much more sense to City, improvement on Barry and a reliable back up to Yaya if he were to get injured. I understand City would want a improvement on Barry and someone who could cover Yaya but Rodwell is really capable of neither. Makes very little sense to me.

probably right too

Don't worry Spurs will probably have Jenas and Livermore playing in midfield

Don't need Anita

Fletcher and Scholes both need long term replacements and they haven't replaced Neville or Evra either. I think this is the most likely line up for them..... De Gea Rafeal Evans Vidic Evra Carrick Scholes Valencia Rooney Kagawa RVP Although Valencia has been used as a RB in pre season and i wouldnt be surprised to see them continue with that considering the rest of thier RB's are Rafeal or CB's and put Nani on the right.

Eh, how's it baffling? I don't get this. Man Utd trying to keep up with the likes of Man City and Chelsea so they sign last season's player of the year to help them on their way. Good fit for both sides if his fitness stays the way of last season and not the way of a lot of his career before that. Because they don't need a striker and ignoring the obvious weaklinks in midfield and at fullback to massage their ego. Without mentioning they have spent close to 20m on a AM this summer and he will be played out of position because of this proposed signing. Signing quality you actually need for the team then fair enough, but there's much more pressing issues for them than signing a striker.

I knew Kagawa wouldn't play in his natural position btw typical Fergie buying AM's and playing them as CM's or wingers.

Fergie is nuts but i bet it pays off for him anyway.... needs a CM and fullback yet he buys another CF

That's f*cking outstanding

I know that, but how that has any relation to being more prepared for last season than this i have no idea. We did'nt need to have a great July this time as you quite rightly said, all i said is that we still needed to buy players and i'm pretty sure we still will. Point is, great July or not we are much better prepared this season than last. Really don't understand where all this pessimism is coming from tbh, we still have the team that finished 5th plus the return of injury to key players and talented kids who are maturing. There's plenty to be positive about, beginning of last season we couldn't really say that.

Amazingly like the respect the ref campaign and just like with that, absolutely nothing will come of it.

hence not needing one this year in particular after acquiring santon and cisse in the interim Well we need one, we do need 3 players to come in before the end of the window and don't think anyone will deny that but if anyone thinks we are worse prepared for this season than last one then they are insane.
