Of course it's too early for him, but i doubt a lack of physical presence will matter in the long run. In any case it's a great confidence boost for him as mentioned and doubt he will be involved in the League any time soon. Good for him though, should be a great experience for him especially if he can get some game time.

I doubt we are actually in for him, sky are just bringing up old stories for hits. They will probably say we are in for Tomkins next

Why have you highlighted Caulker? Gonna say that, i was impressed with Caulker last season might be a bit early but his performances makes me think he deserves a chance. Think he is a promising player, but no where near ready for international level football. Might as well get the promising players in now, if we are to have any success in future tournaments we need to start giving chances to these promising players. Obviously there's more to it than that as far as future success goes, but you get the point.

I'd rather just get rid tbh.

Even so, the problem with Uefa's rules is there is far too many loopholes which allows teams to still spend by the bucket load regardless if spending far exceeds their income.

Completely agree with Tyson, which is why i have been and many others been desperate to get him over the line over last few months it would be the last weak spot left in the team. Our first eleven would be just brilliant, only some depth in some areas would be required for perfection. ( not really but yeah)

Tbf they have bought a few high profile players but the team as a whole isn't that great, i just don't want us having a trip to russia in between difficult league games tbh lol. Would rather we avoid them just for those reasons.

Spurs are a still an unkown quantity going into the new season for me..... New coach, Top scorer not replaced, best midfielder and playmaker looking like he's leaving and not replaced. A lot like Chelsea actually they have a lot of questions that no one seems to know the answers to. Although there's been a lack of transfer activity on our behalf there's one thing we have over the likes of Spurs and Chelsea is that we are very stable club at the moment with a solid management staff and a great group of players who seem to be intent on taking the club forward together. Now when was the last time we could say that?

I think if i was a manager/coach of a football club i'd want is someone who is merely more than just a different type of s***. For example would you trade dog s*** for bird s***? Simpson isn't s***, he's average, and bosingwa is better than average. Alan Smith is s***, let's not go overboard here. True i really should refrain from posting late at night, although i'd disagree slightly personally Bosingwa is no better than Simpson but for different reasons. Bosingwa cant defend and Simpson cant attack, i can definitely understand why people don't want to take a chance on him as he's the wrong side of 30 and on high wages.

I stand by what i said before, Joe Allen is a good player IMO and would have looked good alongside Tiote and Cabaye in our midfield but he is nowhere near worth 15m. Also it baffles me why Liverpool want him so much, they already have very similar footballers at the club already if i was in charge i'd be looking for a more attack minded midfielder. But oh well i'm not going to complain if they want to keep making arses of themselves.
