  1. I do agree people overrate people's transfers when they go on a spending spree. That isn't the case here though i feel, Reading have made 3 genuine improvements to their team. Well above you would expect from a newly promoted side as i said it's all relative and considering Reading's position i believe they are quality signings for them. For example, if we signed those players i'd think they are crap signings because we need more but for Reading it's quality. On the other end of the spectrum, QPR have bought loads of players so far but they are all crap or past it and classic case of quantity over quality. But Reading have signed genuine quality when you consider the level their squad is at.
  2. Guthrie is also better than the majority CM's in the bottom half of the league. Also isn't Lucas more of an attacking midfielder than a winger? Never said they were ground breaking btw, i said they are quality signings for them. Considering where Reading are as a club atm i consider them 3 signings to be quality. It's all relative.
  3. Are they? Guthrie, Defoe ( if he signs) and Pogrebnyak are quality signings for them IMO.
  4. Rodallega is close to signing for us by all accounts. Which accounts? Twitter accounts.
  5. I think everybody is happy with how the club is run atm. ( sport direct all over the stadium shit aside) Summed up perfectly for me.
  6. That's where I gave up reading. He wouldn't sell us for £80m at our lowest ebb ffs. I don't know man, I mean he's just made the club profitable, seems like a good time to get out. Thing is apart from the fact it's complete BS, Ashley bought the club for 135m and payed millions more into the club for debt etc etc. I cant see him entering the idea of selling unless he gets a profit tbh.
  7. perfect image on how imagine Ashley responding to "80m"
  8. I don't want to be one of those clubs in millions of debt and not run properly. Spending millions in the pursuit of glory, while sacrificing the long term stability of the club. I like the way we are run at the moment and the way we want to achieve success in the future, while maintaining the long term stability of the club. So yeah, if they are thinking about doing this they can f*ck off.

  16. Tbf he did sign a new contract..... at MK Dons
  17. Saying that Ba's release clause ends at the end of July after that we can demand 15m and Galatasaray, Liverpool and Spurs are following the situation. Then they said Ba is happy at NUFC and looking forward to the new season with NUFC. But then they said "It should be noted Ba had move out of position and only scored 1 goal when Cisse signed" F*cking c*nts. Following the situation, what is there to follow? Their words not mine i agree btw
  18. I wanna dream about Sakho and Debuchy, but it's too FM-tastic for my liking.
  19. I agree with that. Think his lack of movement also eventuated from his lack of confidence. He was reluctant to move, as a chance may present itself, where if he missed, people would be on his back even more. Still think he can develop into a very good premier league footballer ( 15 goals a season). Hes an incredible player to have in your side at set pieces, I think Rodgers would be stupid to let him go for this reason alone. I don't think he has the off the ball movement needed for such a way of playing tbh, i agree with the rest though. I don't think they should let him go, but nor do i think they should sell him/loan him. He could be a good plan B as mentioned above but i'm not sure he fit's the system well enough to be an important piece of the jigsaw.
  20. Agreed and doesn't work hard enough either also seem's to make the wrong decision too often. You could argue Pardew could coach these things into him but i'm not sure personally. Besides he wouldn't come here without certain starting place, would also command very high wages which we wouldn't give him.
