Lyon have won 5-0 away at Bordeaux, Lacazette getting 2 goals and an assist. Both he and Lyon are in great form recently, he's upto 17 league goals this season, while Lyon are 2nd now heading into the winter break.

The last month or so at work I've spoke to a number of neutrals fans about Pardew. They all seem to realise that he is a moron who manages to pull together a good couple of results that keeps the neutrals off his back. Glad people are starting to see it.

tbh they turned on him almost from the moment he was appointed. Not exactly sure why he was appointed his records a bit meh Was a strange appointment. Was having a meal with a West Brom fan right when he was appointed and he was p*ssed off for the rest of the night. The whole crowd turned on him against Arsenal a few weeks ago when he brought on Samaras for Sess, never really heard them react that badly to a sub before. Montpellier just did the 'everyone run out and catch the attackers offside as the free kick is taken' thing. It was in the 81st minutes away at PSG with the score at 0-0. Must of taken a lot of balls to actually decide to do it at that stage in the game Ended 0-0, Lyon could move upto 2nd tomorrow while Marseille could extend their lead at the top. Going to be an interesting title race if it continues like this.

Wouldn't be surprised if Irvine is sacked soon. Guy is clueless, plus the fans are already turning on him, which they didn't do with the likes of Clarke and Mel even when their form was embarrassingly bad.

Rather disappointed with Marseille, but the results today put Lyon close to the top. Hope they win the league out of the 3 at the top at the moment, they could do with it to help keep hold of the handful of talented younger players they have.

Thiago hasn't been the same guy since the World Cup. Don't know what has happened but I'm leaning more and more towards thinking PSG best defender is Marquinhos. If Silva keeps up this sort of form then I'll agree with that. Marquinhos always seems to do well when he plays, would certainly have started today with both Silva and Luiz having dreadful games. Not really sure why he got dropped today really.

Guingamp become the first team to beat PSG in the league this season. Did extremely well defensively, Lossl made a great save at the end but PSG didn't have too many chances. PSG are now only 1 point ahead of Lyon, and 1 point behind Marseille who play Monaco away later tonight. Thiago Silva has been dreadful in the last few matches I've watched him play.

That doesn't seem to have included his booking against Palace in the Capital One Cup.

Lacazette scores again for Lyon, now scoring 12 this season. Will be surprised if he stays after this season, especially if Lyon don't get into the CL. Just scored a 90th minute penalty, 13 for the season now.

Well, that was good. Restricted to very few chances and took ours when they come. Colback, Coloccini, Janmaat and Dummett were all fantastic imo. Would include Taylor in that had he not had his usual moment of madness.

He is someone I find myself being very critical of, but he was superb today. Seemed to be everywhere.
