Excellent stuff. 2 good signings so far, need more to follow though before I get optimistic about the coming season.

A few people seem to be saying that he played very well in it, but he did give away a penalty.

tbf to Gueye, he also said Villa are still a big club despite having a few difficult seasons. Obviously it would have been more ideal if he didn't mention wanting to move to a bigger club later down the line.

Watched him a lot last season, and he is. Might take him a bit of time to adapt, but hopefully you give him time as he could be a brilliant player in the future.

Caught up with the own goal and the red card. Sounds like that is all that needs to be caught up with.

They have no wingers and he hardly cost anything. Decent enough deal for them. Bit of a lie actually, they do have wingers, just none (apart from McManaman) who can actually beat a man.

I like Dawson. Won't be the most exciting signing, but wouldn't mind it happening as long as we at least 1 other CB in.

His assist in the Arsenal game was a thing of beauty. Still one of my favourite assists ever.
