I did that through work and got leathered at Anfield on free drink and made a right load of racket being a bit of a cunt. However, the game was Liverpool v WBA when Pardew was manager and all I did was give Pardew dogs abuse throughout, which is perfectly acceptable. If it was Newcastle playing Liverpool, again I would have been leathered but absolutely reined it in for the game. You've got to understand the people around you and corportate fan or away fan in the home end, you have to be smart about it and not be a daft cunt, which these were. If they did it would have been well earned, just as any football fan would say about away fans going nuts in the home end.

There are a lot of Scando season ticket holders at Anfield that travel for the weekend for games, both home and away. Wouldn't surprise me if that was was who the bulk of the seats were taken up by. Either way it's shambolic by the club and the police to allow this if they knew it was going to happen. It's a 7.45pm KO on a Saturday, in Newcastle, both sets of fans are going to be pissed and it's going to cause chaos.

Klopp loves to try and disgrace long-ball because it's actually something he really struggles to manage in-game. That was why they would pummel teams that would open up and play a free-flowing game against them, but they would struggle against teams that absorbed and countered with quick forward balls up the pitch. This season now he has far better players he can manage it better, but obviously it still causes problems. Add to it deep down he knows they got so fucking lucky here, he needs to deflect.
