  1. Don't remember Zaha barely doing anything apart from one bit of play early in the game, Townsend at least managed more than that but not much. From where I was in the gallowgate, he looked a danger every time he got or was near the ball in the first half. second half not so much. Dont know how it looked on TV though.
  2. First half especially, Zaha was the best player on the pitch and id have him in a heart beat over Townsend
  3. Aye, was watching Lascelles apparently.
  4. If anyone thinks Sting is going to buy us then they're walking on the moon.
  5. I would say it's going exactly as Ashley's 'people' have planned it.
  6. .com have similar views to me in that this could all be nicely staged. Whoever invented that phrase 'It's the hope that kills you' missed a merchandise trick up here mind.
  7. Christ the wife is mesmerising when she speaks like she is hypnotising you. Wouldn't be surprised if Ashley ends up selling her SD as well by accident.
  8. Im still in the non-believing camp but what a 125 year birthday present this would be if the club generally became United again.
  9. It's not really about what's in the books for me but what potential there is in the years to come when all revenue streams can be run correctly.
  10. Could people lay off calling the lass a MILF as it's ruining the vision. Moreso with her being younger than me.
  11. Meanwhile, somewhere on a pub floor down South, Ashley and his merry men recover from another laughter filled heavy night on the sauce after feeding the media with untruths. It's odds on with an excuse to feed Rafa when he goes with his cap for a January spend to blame 'The Takeover' What's that now? Is this a sequel or the 4th follow on? Each one so predictable but blockbusters in their own right. *goes off to a room with hands on ears.... THIS WONT HAPPEN. THIS WONT HAPPEN. THIS WONT HAPPEN...... :frantic: :frantic:
  12. But he's confirming the FT story and there are actual figures being bandied about with no one denying them from either PCP or the club. For the first time I am starting to think this could be happening. If someone told me that Ashley said tomorrow was Friday, I wouldn't believe it.
  13. Everyone needs to chill. I dont even think we're at the Barry Moat stage of this 'deal' yet and that was the biggest red herring so far. Based on Ashley's lie filled career he's had here it's best to hope for nowt and expect to be let down. Anything else is a bonus. Now the lack of denials from someone credible is the stumbling block in my negativity but this is Ashley they're dealing with so im expecting It'll end in tears. :frantic:
  14. Still think there's no takeover and everyone is being fed by Ashley's crooks.
  15. Saw this on twitter before and have dismissed it as nowt although if it's true and we never get private planes from there ever then there could be something in it. Not likely though.
  16. Wonder who will be this time's Barry Moat before the smokescreen subsides?
  17. Think of what we've had under Ashley, even Moncur who may be respected as a player and the Fairs Cup we won with him but he doesn't bring much, in my opinion, to the role he has. Keegan with his many good traits as well as knowledge could bring a lot more. It wont happen though but for me it's good to speculate rather than dwell on these past 10 years.
  18. Id say the same applies to many of the fans. Keegan was the first coming of what Rafa has brought in the past year and a bit but on a much bigger scale.
  19. Ive explained what I meant by saying more like a Charnley role although not in making the teas.
  20. Cant see how wanting a club legend here in an honest role to improve the club is a reason for us to be mocked. I agree, maybe not in a role that conflicts with Rafa but for someone to have both played and managed us and completely 'get' what we all want, it's a no brainer. He could do Charnley's role in his sleep for one.
  21. Dream scenario: Consortium in with Keegan in a director of football/chief transfer negotiator type role. Ambitious plans in place with stadium expansion, new shops to open around the area bringing the club closer to the fans as well as an honest plan to improve year on year. Realistic scenario: Ashley to take club off market at the end of January when the window closes due to the world financial issues or brexit crap.
  22. Do we still believe that the club is for sale?
