  1. It's fairly obvious what the real story is because it was proven in a court of law that the regime intentionally mislead. Keegan revealed some of the tricks on ESPN the other year and it wont have changed. It's how Ashley rolls. Just need to look no further than his current business which is in court trying to get out of paying that lump.
  2. Aye, Im sure I saw him run at least once as well.

    Chalobah is going to Watford pending a medical. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Breaking <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/WatfordFC?src=hash">#WatfordFC</a> transfer news<a href="https://twitter.com/chalobah">@chalobah</a> having medical after agreeing permanent transfer on 5 year deal. <br><br>More <a href="https://twitter.com/SkySportsNewsHQ">@SkySportsNewsHQ</a></p>— Adam Leventhal (@AdamLeventhal) <a href="https://twitter.com/AdamLeventhal/status/885604436307058690">July 13, 2017</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Got a feeling this window will be determined a success or failure based on transfer spend rather than personnel brought in, due to the lack of movement so far. This will make the transfer of Murphy, if it happens, more elevated than it should be as he's not the proven type of experienced player that we were allegedly after.
  6. Actually think it looks better in this picture.
  7. We've been waiting until the third kit was launched. We've been waiting until Ashley's court case was finished. We've been busy watching Wimbledon/Love Island/Good Morning Britain [delete as applicable]. The first two instalments of the P/L payments could yet cover Ashley's court costs. Easily done with cash 'diverted' to an 'agent' for an unknown Forrin.
  8. Surprised it's not more considering he's armed with our transfer kitty.
  9. How hard is it to make a bid nowadays like? or are the financial 'experts' just mentally challenged? You bid. It gets turned down so you bid again. Takes 5 minutes on footy manager. Knowing our set up, the internet will be provided by FreeServe and be 48k dial up with no coverage when people ring the box office, clogging up the line.
  10. Im no good on paint but id go out on a limb and reckon that the away shirt is a redcurrant/blue danube effort with white shorts.
  11. Hart's not even listed in the next club betting on most sites with West Ham the favourites to have to house his lifetime supply of shampoo.
  12. Confirmed kit. https://twitter.com/NUFC/status/884727755069431808
  13. To be fair, Rafa aside, it's been negative here for ages.
  14. Ed Sheeran adds a 3rd date to his St James' stint on the Sunday which means more dosh and a delay in laying a new pitch next pre-season.

  16. Everything is hunky dory though as we've sold over 40,000 season tickets and Mick Martin has created a singing pen. FFS.
  17. Despite being a relentless mong, he's clearly pretty well connected with the club tbh. Has been for quite a while now. So is any kid that hangs around the training ground gates although Ryder comes across more as if he's the most excited fan needing 1 or 2 more autographs for a full set.
  18. Nothing wrong with hammering home the point of how much more loyal our fans are than the other 2 major North East clubs are though. Only on here would people have a problem with that and it's something I've come to expect now tbh. I'll leave at at that. ...But less loyal than the 52000 West Ham fans that have already sold out their stadium? Nah, we have a lot to be proud about our support, and f*** the mackems, but it can get a bit murky when kicking smaller teams for their comparable ticket sales tbh. Wet Spam being in London will have a massive portion of tickets sold to tourists who will then swop them game by game also there's the fact that our catchment area of around 1 million people or so up here is expectant of many people travelling tricky routes at massive distance and it is just not feasible for many. There is under 300,000 in the area classed as Newcastle which spreads around 5 mile North and West from the Quayside. It also goes a couple of miles to the East. We also have about 200,000 people in North Tyneside, 316,000 in Northumberland, which is a massive area to travel by the most part. and 150,000 in South Tyneside. Durham like North Northumberland is a canny hike from the most part and shouldn't be classed as solely our catchment as Sunderland, Middlesboro, Darlington, Hartlepool, York and co can be classed as closer. Still, it only houses around 500,000 people. London alone has a population of 7m and when they think of the surrounding areas as well as the great links from around the country, even the world. There's no limit to people they could or should get.
  19. Hopefully this kick starts the striker stalemate with us getting Batyshuai at the end of it.
  20. Surprised they never called it 'The TF Singing Section™'
  21. Learned nothing new in that article. It's obvious most of the names thrown around are by club stooges who are trying to make it look like we're actively looking for players. Stuff will be happening but at a very slow pace with us relying on tip offs or agent deals. The same with the takeover talk, just done to cloud the mind. If the Lejeune deal has been done for over 4 weeks with just a contract needing to be signed then you can guarantee that Rafa's piss is boiling with nowt done since.
  22. The irony of it all is that those who go to Barker and Stonehouse around a match being played will be those that objected to St James' being rebuilt on their cow field just up the road. Maybe it's karma coming round.
