Very well put. I am pleased we are winning, but this is nothing new. Pardew's tenure is characterised by extreme peaks and troughs; there is rarely any consistency. I am sure we will go on another awful run at some point in this season and he will be under extreme pressure again.
But more than anything else, after four years now I just don't feel like he has brought the team forward significantly. We don't have any discernible style, over the period several youngsters careers have severely stagnated and he certainly isn't getting the best out of the squad we have.
I just think he lacked a little bit of composure with the shot, he probably thought he had more time but with the sloppy interplay of passes between him and Ayoze, that Moreno (who is absolutely rapid) was on him straight away.
Hope he starts on Sunday, but I won't hold my breath.

Putting together a football team, is like putting together Ikea furniture.
Apparently.
I am increasingly worried about the risk of relegation if Pardew sticks around too much longer. Two home games against Leicester and QPR are the only games in the next two months that I think we should be winning. Could genuinely see us with only ten points or so at Christmas.
