Deadline day has been shit for us for ages now so really not expecting anything incoming, and wouldn't be at all surprised to see some late Cabaye-based carry on.
Suspected at the time that January was our summer spending - seems that was indeed the case.
He has actually overtaken Pardew in the sack race:

That's quite an achievement!
That was such an improvement it's ridiculous - reckon the XI that finished that game should start the next.
Remy and Cabaye coming on won us the game - Cisse looked a different player once they were on too.
Oh good. This again.
Sorry but i got told last week that we couldn't compete with a sovereign state, i'm just curious how Hull are giving it a go like.
Aye I got that like, subtle as it was!
That's what stood out for me too - not everything he tried works (rarely does for wingers, beating players one-on-one is one the hardest things for a player to do) but he kept plugging away and got his reward.
Also a couple of his crosses would've been decent if we had any movement in the box, or a Darren Bent style poacher.
Can give a few younguns a chance but don't want to see wholesale changes when there's a game to be won. Would be happy with something like:
Debuchy - Mapou - Colo - Dummett
Anita - Sissoko
Vuckic
Sammy - Cisse - Gouffran
HBA on the bench just in case...
I heard it once and couldn't understand why, the same goes for the Shola song, why?
They were singing it just after the Kinnear song so my best guess is that it's some form of recognition that people think he's getting something of a raw deal in the whole JFK fuckfest.
One of the things I hate about us being so shit is that you can't root for the underdogs in games like this as we can't afford for them to be picking up points.
