I think he'll be a useful signing, always handy to have a big experienced forward to bring on when defending a lead and you need someone to hold it up.

Armstrong is a completely different type of player though - Murphy will be cover for Mitro I'm sure, we've seen in the last few weeks what a struggle it can be without a target man and Mitrovic is almost guaranteed to miss games. Wouldn't have been my first choice, but as cover for a specific role for (hopefully) a single season I'll give the lad a chance.

With him just signing the new contract it does seem an ideal time to give him a start and see how he does.
