There will always be a hardcore who will go no matter what. Leeds for instance have been mismanaged on a criminally epic scale for 15 years now by a series of shithouses who actually make Ashley look mildly competent but still had over 25,000 at their last home game. After a while it actually becomes a badge of honour that you're still turning up to watch complete shit week after week.

Will probably be sold. We're not allowed to have nice things.
-
Should be 2 jobs: 1. Keep Rafa 2. Fuck off
-
So this is going to be a seething cauldron of hate, 50,000 disgruntled fans finally snapping and letting everyone associated with the club know exactly how they feel about their shambolic performances, and showing our absentee owner in the most forceful terms possible that it just won't be tolerated any more. Or maybe not.
-
Aye. Let's not forget that last time we were relegated the club didn't actually confirm Hughton as manager unil the end of October.
-
Only when it doesn't involve us. Really enjoyed watching Leicester win the title for instance, although even that was tinged with jealousy
-
If there's a way to fuck this up, we will. And there's many, many ways to fuck this up.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2016/05/10/newcastle-hope-to-persuade-rafa-benitez-to-stay-at-st-james-park/? So either Rafa stays or we go for Steve Bruce. Fucking hell, this could be such a pivotal moment in the history of the club.
-
But, according to Marca, Newcastle are confident the former Real Madrid manager will stay. The Spanish newspaper claims Benitez is overwhelmed by the support he has got from fans and that he is now determined to rebuild the club. It'll be like last time, they'll just say absolutely fucking nothing, Rafa will leave when they won't return his calls, any players we get offers for will be off and we'll meander aimlessly into the Championship season. Last relegation they didn't even confirm Hughton had the job permanently until the end of October ffs

Spurs have been desperate to win in all of their last 3 games to win the league then secure second place and have fucked all of them up - they're there for the taking if we could bother our arses to turn up. Mackems will beat Everton though so its all academic.
-
They've played with spirit at the right time and invested in a proven goalscorer who has basically kept them up single handed. They probably deserve to stay up ahead of us. Haivng said that, next season they'll have another bottom half finish watching Allardyce football, don't think I would swap places with them tbh.
-
He is, but his last goal was on the 16th January. He's gone missing when we needed him most.
-
They give less of a fuck than Villa right now, the mackems will beat them at a canter.

WDDW So you'd praise Pardew for the 5th too then? Eh? You think Cisse is the reason for WDDW? That's what you've implied. Other than the one goal he's scored in those 4 matches, he hasn't held up the ball, made any passes of note or made space for other players. Every single game Mitro has come on he's been involved, holding up the ball, laying it off and being an absolute menace. With Cisse alone up front we're practically a man down, he just can't play the lone striker role and he never has for us. The only time he came close to this was when we played practically 3 up top and he was the one in the middle. You can't just look at the past 4 results, Cisse has started them, and then imply 'that's what he brings to the team'. Come on. Just trust Rafa man

where's this from? http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,68418.msg3261529.html#msg3261529

I'll settle for going into the last day with our destiny in our own hands - just a few weeks ago we were dead and buried
-
Janmaat fit and in the squad - would anyone start him?
-
Fucking Pardew man. Absolute fucking cunt.

http://www.football365.com/news/allardyce-goes-all-vicky-pollard-do-i-look-bothered So pleased this prick isn't our manager any more.
-
They weren't this season either, it was our 36th game that took us above them - do you know if the same still applies?
-
There is a scenario where we can end up with the same points, GD and goals scored - imagine a play-off for the last relegation spot??
-
In percentage terms I make it around 40/40/20 for us/mackems/Norwich so about a 6 on the relegationometer I reckon.

Champagne on a private jet with one of the club's directors apparently: http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2016/05/03/09/33C5F06600000578-3570773-Toasting_success_Leicester_City_manager_Claudio_Ranieri_is_pictu-m-25_1462265087705.jpg She's no Lee Charnley mind....
