  1. A welcome boost for Villa having Chris Kavanagh back in the lineup tonight.
  2. Points to his shoulder 😂
  3. No surprise Andy Madley getting every single decision wrong.
  4. Fingers crossed, my concern is the speed in which this deal gets done. If we do get 75 mil I think we’ve done well.
  5. With the luxury of hindsight..I don’t think we can hang around forever with an ultra high valuation like we did with Isak, or it’ll drag on for ages in a summer where every day is important. Again with hindsight and ignoring what we spent it on, 125 million was good money, but everyone wanted 150 and it turned into the ugliest of saga’s. I doubt we will get 75 - 80 for Gordon, maybe 60 to 65? Get him sold asap so we can get the replacement sorted fast.
  6. He’s not on the pitch We can add a new one to the lack of accountability list Isak sale Too many games Not enough training time All close games He’s not actually playing himself
  7. We’re too much of a soft touch mentality wise and that’s as much to blame as tactics imo when it comes to our inability to see a game out. would love to just see a bit of determination at the end of games to get the 3 points, but we don’t even seem arsed.
  8. If this is us playing well it’s not a good sign.
  9. 10 wins out of 27 in all comps since the turn of the year. All the summers fault.
  10. we were willing to pay 60 million plus for Guehi the same summer we sold Anderson due to PSR and also went after Trafford till he went to City. The transfer policy Mitchell slated was the above.
  11. How is Barkley still on the field. Or Sancho.
  12. Always looked a winnable game for Spurs this imo. mind didnt expect Villa to be this bad. Worst half of football Iv seen from a side in a long time.
  13. I was swaying on the side of a change but if a decision has been made then fair enough, he does deserve a shot at another season. We can’t keep playing the way we are though and it’s a real worry for me. Surely he sees we need real impactful changes - both in personnel and tactics.
  14. He genuinely does stick up for us mind. Not a great manager and he took some stick whilst here, but due the arrogance of him I’m not sure it even fully registered and it certainly doesn’t now. Every chance he gets he puts a good word in. There’s footage somewhere of Souness sounding off like a baby about us being a small club and Pardew wasn’t having any of it. Mind even Souness seems to have cooled off nowadays. It’s solely Bruce who is on his endless campaign to stick the boot in.
  15. I doubt we’ll fix them all in one window. If we fail to sign a creative midfield player in the summer, very little will change. That and a GK should be priority

Needs to be playing and it's really that simple. We are toothless and instantly look a better team when he's in it. Physically he needs to catch up, yet how is this possible when he barely features? Also, him playing would give the crowd something to get behind.
  17. Next week is where we'll know. If Brighton beat us and Spurs beat Villa we are 100% in a fight to stay up. Unthinkable.

    Lewis Hall

Could he not have been brought on at left wing when they were sitting deeper? Looked a decent option and we know he loves to get forward.

    Yoane Wissa

agreed. We will never know how these two players work together because we seldom play them together,

doesn’t matter. It’s about a different player in a team that is utterly devoid of creativity. He clearly has something. you can be Howe in or out but I don’t think it can be up for argument that we should have seen more of Woltemade in these last few games.

    Should be playing every match.
  22. Looking at the late losses as a group does suggest we’ve been unlucky but looking at the games individually tells a different story. Arsenal hammered us at SJP, deserved loss v Sunderland, deserved loss v Bournemouth, rubbish vs Palace, all over the place against Brentford, ditto Everton. Only really the Liverpool game at home stands out as one that wasn’t fair on us.
  23. Regis’ position under threat if they don’t land Yewrup, according to talksport mind.
