Four of the first team squad out at the moment to be fair, no doubt people will say well one isn't coming back (Cabaye) but one will soon be in the door who would have started today. True, but that's still the point im trying to make. Squad depth is the solution to players being out and we dont have any. Imagine if HBA got crocked tonight.

16 year old on the bench basically says a lot about the quality of the squad. A few injuries and soon looks weak.

He said we would be wise to cash in now due to his 'stability clause'. He then got a torrent of abuse similar to above actually. He did an interview with Cabaye and Debuchy a few weeks ago on BT, seemed very palsy with them. Made me wonder if the comments regarding Cabaye showed they were in cahoots and something had been said to him. Still seems hugely unlikely though, purely because of the fuck on it would going through court and that.

Julian Laurens started that stuff off, and he's gone down in my estimation since. Seems a right little attention seeker. You would have to be pretty desperate to buy out 2 years of your deal to get away. And like mentioned before, it hardly seems a simple affair to carry it out.

It seems like they aren't jumping around at him joining them. The only man who really desired to see him there seems to be Blanc. I know it means little to players these days but he wont get anywhere near the adulation at PSG that he got here. They have gone terribly arrogant since they became rich.

If we were serious about signing Grenier we could get him. Lyon need the money apparently. This 'difficult in January' stuff may be true to a degree other clubs are proving it that you can get the players if you work hard enough.

I would honestly just move Sissoko (his natural position) central and start Ben Arfa where he was. It could get pretty dire to watch at times but this is the scenario we're left with now when its extremely unlikely we'll get no one in. HBA does have that magic so he needs to play now.

At the start of this window we needed a striker and some more creativity. That was before the Cabaye sale. We're now significantly weaker without even touching on the other issues. I'm dead against slotting another DM in there when the spark in our side was on short supply anyway.

Are we really ready to change system under Pardew though? Just keep it as it is with a player in the same mould as Cabaye. Not pissing about with more formations when most of our first XI were finally starting to settle down.

Dont think Sherwood is that keen on him, but he's not the answer to replace Cabaye. He's much more defensive minded.

I would like to see us try for someone like Lallana but that is never going to happen clearly. Will be a panicky bid for Sean Davis or something.

For sure, and thats how far we've sunk (no offence to either of those players). Kinnear may be part of this 'delegation', but it's Ashley that has our transfers or lack of them under his total control, and JFK is part of the lies.

We could sign players regardless of Kinnear. If we really wanted to bring players in and Kinnear was finding it tough then Charnley or Ashley would step in. Ashley was rumoured to have carried out the transfers of all last January, and the players were here in a crack. Joe Kinnear was never brought to club to run transfers, that was a flat out lie imo just to give him a title. We only signed Anita and Bigi when Llambias was here the summer after we got 5th, the same problems and frustrations we have now were present when JFK wasnt around.

Used to think his videos were canny good when they were once every few weeks. He does them hourly now, did one the other day about dating ffs.
