Yep. Worlds apart. What he's describing there is basically the dream; doesn't matter so much if they have a poor season. They're trying to be the best they can possibly be and they're doing it in an technical and sustainable way. Can't even face watching it. The ambition of clubs such as Brighton, Bournemouth, Wolves etc etc is complete anethema to this current version of NUFC. If Ashley ever sells, we'll be left with such a huge task just to catch up with a multitude of clubs that are much smaller than us in every sense, it will take decades.

I'd go for the second option. Plus Ashley wants to get one over the fans again. He hates us and another relegation is a small price to pay to keep the club suffering.

I’ve seen this theory spread several times and it’s just plain bizarre. Like a bird who has fucked you over I know. I don’t get it either. Just cannot fathom the logic to it. Hughton was too close to the fans for Ashley's liking, and wasn't bullshitting us as he would like. So Ashley got Pardew, the master of bullshit in. I can't for the life of me either see why people keep saying he'll be back.

I can't see us getting hammered looking at Man Utd's squad. They'd struggle to hammer a League 1 team at the moment away from home. This could be Bruce's saving grace today, as if we get a result it sure as hell won't be due to any 'tactical' changes he's made.

We had a discussion a while ago when I said I actively hate him. He certainly thinks he's that good, but spends most of his time looking for a chance to fall, gesticulating at his teammates/officals/anyone who dares make contact with him and it always has to be the Zaha show. He hasn't grown out of any of it and won't grow as a player until he does.

At NCL, they were still ongoing with Northumbria from what I was told. This is probably correct, what I read was that more places have got discounted tickets, and the ones that already got them have got a lot more than usual. I do think Ashley will be going down this route as crowds dwindle though.

Simple for anyone with a brain! It wouldn't surprise me if he's trying to tell investors over there about us! Anyone wanting to throw hundreds of millions at this club would be fucking mental not to approach Rafa. It would make their investment as safe a bet as they come.
