  1. Nowhere near that yet for me, if he starts blaming players and coming out with every pathetic excuse under the sun then yeah, he'll be up there. Mind you, it'll be harder to to do when I've no interest in what happens when we play. He will though. He's well on the way already in terms of awful quotes, "Mike this, Mike that", "Ha, only 12 fans protesting", "Almiron not scored", he thinks progression is "to stay up and have a go at the cups". I've probably forgotten more. After a while, it'll be hard to distinguish between them. Although, I don't think I've ever hated any cunt as much as Pardew so who knows.
  2. I am an outsider so feel free to disregard this post. Couple of points. Why is he is NUFC through and through a criteria to fill the most the important position in a 100 million dollar operation? This point is not just at Newcastle but at other clubs also. It also seems to be a common line to justify PFM appointments at other places. I get it if the person has a unique connection, best placed to incorporate a style of football due to his past connection with the club like Guardiola or Keegan. Or the person can use his legendary status to make changes which other people cant, like Zidane. But otherwise, does it matter? Especially with someone as shit as a resume as Bruce. I am dreading the time, the calls for Gerrard to take over, start in the media. If he is definitely NUFC through and through and has the club at heart, why did he manage Sunderland? It is not like he needed the money? He had opportunities to manage NUFC in the past which he turned down. Steve Bruce might have a soft spot for NUFC, but let us be honest. He is here because at this stage in his career, no other club with even half the profile of NUFC in the premier league would touch him with a bargepole. That is the only reason. He probably cannot believe the fact that he is at a PL club. He also knows that even if he fails miserably, as long as he is being discussed in the media (which your club will ensure due to its profile), PFMs are like whac-a-mole, will pop up somewhere. never seen a bad post from this lad, always on the fucking money Yep, always worth reading his views. He gets it a lot more than some actual supporters of the club, that's the mad thing. I have experienced exactly the same thing ten years ago when Rafa was replaced by Hodgson. Media blitz about how Hodgson bough positivity to the club. Players are now able to "express" themselves. Release the shackles. None of this pesky tactics which is restraining the midfielders from showing their true talents. Training ground is now a happier place. Arms around the shoulder approach to management. All from the classic PFM and their desperate media shill playbook. You can expect similar quotes from Bruce also. 22 September: “They’ll be a formidable challenge” (Before facing Fourth Division Northampton Town) 24 September: "The protest does not help" 17 October: "As good as we have played all season" (After the woeful loss to Everton) 17 October: “To get a result here would have been Utopia” (Also after the defeat to Everton) 21 October: "We will cross that bridge when we come to it" (On rumours of Torres to Manchester United) https://www.lfchistory.net/Articles/Article/3279 I think his quotes after Everton loss and Torres to Utd rumors finally drove people over the edge. I see a lot of parallels here. And you are in a worse shape because while we were declining, we still had a number of great players to rely on and as bad as Hodgson was for us, compared to Steve Bruce, he is Arrigo Sacchi. We've had it for 10 years so theres literally no excuse for it from any Newcastle fan by this stage. Those quotes though. they're actually Pardew-esque (especially bigging up shite opposition, and claiming the team played great when nothing could be further from the truth). I've no doubt we'll hear all of those at some point from Bruce. I'm actually shocked how quickly he's sided with Ashley and against the fans though. I hate him already.
  3. If this cunt keeps going the way he's started, he'll be approaching Pardew levels of hate from me within about, 2 weeks.
  4. 1 or 2 wins in the first 5 games (unlikely I know) and you watch people saying Bruce is better than Rafa.
  5. doesn't really fit in with the comms from BZG themselves though does it Their 'comms' don't really fit in with being a multi billion dollar company though.
  6. I'll humour you...what would you suggest instead?
  7. This is my view also. People keep saying he'll sell in the PL, but he's proven he never will. Even if someones interested and has the cash waiting. We don't know he'll sell if the club stays down the leagues, but it's got to be worth a try.
  8. I think cunt is a word Bruce has earned now.
  9. Idiot, patsy, Ashley's man, fool are a few words that come to mind. Cunt probably also actually. Rafa saw improvement as constant, every day, every game, every season. A project. This dunce thinks improvement/progression is to stay up and try for a cup. What a tool.
  10. Cuckold FC at it again Dickhead fans. Ashley loves them for that. Just why? I just can't comprehend the mentality at this point. They should have been singing Rafa's name ffs.

Speaking of which, facebook (I know I know) people seem to think that Darlow is amazing I can remember an idiot on here saying Darlow was better than Dubravka a while ago. Thick is thick.
  12. Just had a chance to properly read his PR piece from the other day and this stood out to me: He says of Bin Zayed Group there was no bid to speak of, although later contradicts that with this: “The last bid, the one from UAE, he’s a prince and he’s got £38bn or £100bn, all these numbers — well, why would you even care what you’re paying then? What difference would £10m either way make? You would want speed, you would want certainty, you would want the keys and to get on with it.” He can't even be straight with anything. Unless he means imaginary bids.

This is so fucking true man.
  14. Would you have to be a mastermind to put out fake takeover rumours? Would you fuck. Theres no proof either way, so best to keep an open mind. Now people who thought the takeover was going to happen (or had happened)...
  15. Might as well change the thread title to Brucey give us a wave - I still can't believe that was supposedly sung. Bet Ashley was in heaven hearing that.
  16. The whole sorry caper is too much for me; what makes it worse is knowing an insignificant percentage are willing to stand up for themselves. Nearly 50,000 people think what's happened is good enough. I genuinely think I'd feel a lot better if I knew the place was going to be empty against Arsenal. I'd still feel part of something. Instead, I feel completely detached. I'm off to Bradford City next week, I can't wait. This is it for me too, detached is the perfect word. I just feel so far away from those people, I can't comprehend anyone facilitating the continuation of the destruction of everything this, or any football club, should represent.
  17. I wonder if Geordie Whisperer is number 9 off here? Would make sense given the shite he posts.
  18. Yeah, he's far too good to waste the best years of his career at this car crash of a club.
  19. Fat Sam and Pardew is my guess.
  20. Just kill me now. What the actual f*** is wrong with our fans? Anyone singing that is an absolute tool. I'm gonna have to say they were taking the piss. Honestly? So they laughed at Bruce after he waved and it was obvious they were taking the piss? Or not? I don't have a clue myself, have just seen it posted on here.
  21. Just kill me now. What the actual fuck is wrong with our fans? Anyone singing that is an absolute tool.
  22. Just seen the score, didn't even know or care we were playing a friendly today. Result made me smile though.
  23. It was done a day before I believe... He knew about the tax bill and that the heat would be on S***** D***** beforehand though, lets be honest. Why else do a very rare interview about NUFC to be released a few hours after finally releasing the results? It's a distraction tactic. A good one at that tbh.
  24. Yep. This also lends credence to 'takeovers' being a deliberate distraction tactic too. It's the way he rolls.
