Yep, I also think its aimed at the fans booing the team off after a draw against Fulham....what the f*** were they expecting? That we should batter teams at home because we're Newcastle? In peoples minds they still expect us to be competing for Europe because thats where we should be, but they're unable to step back and look at the bigger picture as to why we're not very good. I'll give them a hint...its not Rafa and it's not the players' effort or commitment. It's that bloke you're giving your money to. A home crowd that didn't see a shot on target and has seen us win only twice in 10 games, losing 6. Can't blame them tbh. Its pretty tragic all round tbh. The football at home has been shite admittedly, but its clear as day lots of our players aren't very confident and aren't able to ignore the crowds frustrations with them so they shrink. Just seems like a never ending circle No one wins apart from the fat cunt at the top. Yep, and no ones responsible apart from the fat cunt at the top too.

Doesn't look like he wants to sell does it? He's on holiday, laughing at everyone associated with this club. Again. Just a never ending nightmare.

should be called the fiction thread. Was gonna say fantasy but the 'targets' aren't even that great.

If we get a new owner ( ) then Rafa will probably have been the biggest single factor in making that happen, so no I think it would be fucking ridiculous, and disgusting too, to get rid of him.
-
Gonna say it in here. A massive reason for our terrible home form is our home fans. For far too many the only noise they make is to moan and groan at the players and to boo the team off whenever they don't win. Must be a joy to play in front of.

Yeah but some of our fanbase is incapable of rational thought and judgement. You'd have to have something wrong with you to give any credence to anything coming from Ashley or his camp. Unfortunately we as a fanbase have thousands like this.

Whether Kenyon is genuine or not, this all feels like an exact repeat of exactly a year ago. Ashley's not interested in selling and is taking the piss again. I'm not changing my opinion on that unless it happens as I can't be bothered raising my hopes just for them to be crushed as always.
-
We're falling behind multiple clubs every year. NUFC is actually a shadow of the club it was when he bought it.
-
The stupidest opinions always seem the loudest.

Our fans are being played..again. Ashley runs this club how rulers run countries...divide and conquer, smoke and mirrors, and lots and lots of fake news and bullshit PR. The news gets funnier every day..."further along than ever before"..."no bid yet"..."deal agreed in principle"..."Kenyon's £100 million short"...even if ALL the papers report that a deal has actually been agreed you can bet your life the next day they'll all be saying it's fell through/come unstuck or something along those lines. If Ashley wanted to sell he would have done so last year, when everybody was telling us it's pretty much a done deal and we're gonna have an ace Christmas...that turned out well

Still Given for me but I don’t know if that’s because he was so prominent for us during our more successful period while I was growing up. So much so that when the announcer is reading the team sheet out and and says “number 1” part of me expects a booming “Shay Given” to follow. Dubravka is the better all round keeper by a long way for me like . I trust him more with high crosses into the box , and he commands his box better than Given . I'd say they were pretty equal as shot stoppers but Dubravka is more vocal than Given when organising his defence. I seem to remember Given used to go through periods of dodgy distribution , although I stand to be corrected on that . Fully agree. Think you also have to realise that goalkeeping has changed a lot in the time since Given was at his best, especially in terms of distribution and being comfortable with the ball at your feet, and thats not meant to put Shay down as he was great for us, just praise of Dubravka and recognising how good his all round game is.

Clearly got the ball.
-
Genuinely think he’d be a different player. I reckon he’s still pissed off that we refused to buy him. Same. He's got the ability but his head seems all over the place this season.
-
Linesman had time to think whether he wanted to fuck us over and decided that he did. Prick, but standard against us.
-
Yes Rondon get the fuck in...£50 up as well happy days
-
is this a joke or something?
-
Only been watching a few minutes but the ref seems like he wants to give them whatever decision they want here.
-
As mentioned it's like a repeat of exactly a year ago. I'm treating the whole thing as Ashley taking the piss again unless proved otherwise.
-
I'd be shocked if we get sold in the next year. Can imagine him sending a shitty letter like that asking for an extra £50 million if anyone actually matches his inflated price for the club.

First public reports in the press re: Kenyon were the day Ashley attended his first game for god knows how long. Ashley then says on TV ''talks are at a more advanced stage than ever before'' which ends pretty much all fan action against him before a planned boycott (even if it was going to be hardly noticeable in terms of numbers). Then the media start reporting that no bids have actually been made. So how is that further than Staveley almost a year ago to the day? My worry with all this is that this time last year we had insiders and ITKs saying it was happening, journalists saying the same thing, Staveley probably even believed it was happening, but in reality that fat cunt was just doing it for a laugh and never really had any intention of selling. Why would it be different now?
-
Still convinced it's a piss take like last time. So fucking tiresome by now.
-
Fans should have stayed to clap the team for their effort tbh. Emptied in less than a minute.
-
They don't deserve it at all.
