  1. Yep, thinking is it because they are highly-tuned athletes that things like this happen? As couldn't imagine seeing anyone do that in normal life.
  2. Think actually gets a slight touch on the ball, decent enough decision. He may get a touch but he gets the man as well. Would be a free kick if it wasn't in the box imo. Yeah I agree it'd be a free kick, and could have been a pen by the letter of the law. We're due the benefit of doubt though tbh.
  3. So whenever joselu scores does that mean he's a good striker? Tongue. In. Cheek.

  5. Not in my opinion, although I am really fucked off with what he's said (and the reasons behind it - probable pay rise etc) and the sudden about turn he's made, however I feel he should be confronted and engaged in dialogue with from the Magpie Group. See how he responds to a reasoned opinion.
  6. Our ability to play under pressure is fucking horrid. First touches and passing is schoolboy level at times.
  7. Those Sports Direct digital adverts are making me feel sick ffs
  8. he'd be laughing a lot harder if we applauded lascelles and said, "you know what? ashley's alright with jamal, so he's alright with me. fuck this boycott shit and lets get extra tickets to the wolves game". Or you just can continue to focus on booing mike Ashley and concentrating on what’s worked thus far in recent weeks and months with Magpie Group. Maybe instead of booing, a proper social media message to Jamaal reminding him what the movement is all about again, and his obligation as club captain, and not to belittle the goals of getting this club back to what it was. Hell tag his family too even. And I’m sure he’ll be quick to apologize and/or realize how stupid his obviously odd quotes were from the other day. I suggested something similar and still think a message to him from the fans' groups is the way to respond.
  9. Seems Genesis only make kits for shit teams. Don't know if Ashleys involved in Genesis but if theres a way for him to make money from the club then it'll probably be true. https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/business/deals/genesis-sports-extends-deal-puma-4802887

Portsmouth in 2005/6 on 7, 8/9/10 points since then for 17th so you're right there. Haven't gone back any further mind.
  11. What a great owner and man. This is a great (if long) article by Henry Winter in the Times about him and what great custodian he's been for Leicester:
  12. Imagine what this club could be if this cunt hadn't siphoned off hundreds of millions of pounds worth of income. Quality playing squad, state of the art training centre, a well-funded and resourced youth set-up, an experienced managing director and staff at all levels, a well-maintained stadium. This is what we should expect at a minimum given the circumstances. None of that will ever happen until he's forced out. I'm assuming this has already been posted? Charley paid less than equivalents at some league 1 clubs. What a joke club.
  13. This is probably true TBF, footballers on social media probably aren’t browsing a lot or reading anything outside their mates’ feeds. More liking pictures of eachother’s haircuts than following The Magpie Group. True, but in the past he's been giving it the big "we care and we are aware". Rafa certainly does keep tabs on fans feelings (probably has a team on it tbf), but it's because he cares about us and about the future of our club. If rafa signed a new contract it'd be because of assurances on the wellbeing of our club. Not a pay rise and/or a get-out clause.
  14. Standard Ashley apologist shite. When it's treating them well they love social media. Now it's not all as positive, especially having turned to the dark side, they don't have time for it. Shame nobody then asked if all his fan-loving tweets/Instagram postings are just a sham posted by a PR guru and heard him squirm. Also just thought, his heart and determination and confidence etc are what make him the player he has been not his natural talent. How's that gonna improve now?
  15. On the radio phone in he says "we as players don't know what goes on on social media...dont have any time in our downtime to get a handle on how fans think" basically was the line he was peddling. The whole bond between the fans and players has been built on them being aware of fans on social media etc. Another lie. He's in full on bullshit mode.
  16. Whats just as bad is that he had a chat and "a laugh" with the fat cunt, but "didn't really talk about football". Why the fuck not? What the fuck was the point in the fucking meal then? He's much less of a man than I assumed.
  17. Easy for him to say. Wow. I'm really fucking angry now, thought Jamaal had a backbone. Think he's probably already got his next club lined up now tbh. We do need to be united, but we need to be united against this regime that's allowing our club to rot. "Problems going on around off the pitch" - yeah the owner is the problem ffs. Could the Magpie Group or similar write a public letter to Jamaal setting out many fans reasoning? See if he cares enough to respond.
  18. Protesting works, and will work. Wonder how much it cost Mike for this bit of PR from Jamaal? Ashley's behaviour has changed massively with only the slightest bit of pressure applied. Turning up to games, crying about MP's, the whole Sports Direct not tweeting for weeks and running to the police after a few not so nice tweets, taking the players out for a meal, this suspicious new contract. Probably more that I can't think of now too. But its clear as day protesting works.
  19. Players like Hatem are why most of us fell in love with football in the first place. Don't get how anyone can not love him, especially when you consider the quality of players we've had to watch for the last decade.
