That's exactly the point though, who would we get in under Ashley!? You all know damn well we won't go for a well known, 'big name' manager. It would be another 2nd rate appointment. I'm no Pardew fan, but I can realise that things could be a lot worse. Sacking him, would only make the circus and negativity surrounding the club even worse. Fine, sack him when Ashley has sold the club, I don't see the point until then.

Winnet Sports? Never heard of it lol. I've always rated Hoddle as a coach/manager. Would be a step up from pardew anyway imo. Did a fantastic job with England, and knows how to set up teams to the play game in the right manner. Personally if he came in as DOF I'd be fairly happy with that.

I suppose it's out of the realms of possibility he walked up and then back down like.

I really hope we at least push for an immediate repalcement; table another bid for Grenier or something. No doubt Ashley will trouser at least 10 mill of the £24mill and claim it went on agents fees, bog roll, rich tea biscuits etc.

I'm sceptical of all these loan deals, if they end up like Remy; i.e. they score loads of goals and then went to fuck off and sign for a CL club. Say he comes in, does a Cissé for the rest of the season, his value skyrockets and we're left with nowt... again!!!

I rated him at Twente & was disappointed he didn't sign went he went to Gladbach, I still think he's a good player and hopefully he can recover his form with us.

We won't sign a replacement, Kinnear is out of his depth regardless of what he says; I don't believe he has any contacts in the modern game, certainly not in France, and has the grace of a pissed up baby elephant when it comes to negotiating. Great timing just before two important fixtures, and what should have been 6 points.

Bring HBA into the side at RM, switch Sissoko into the middle would be the logical choice if we don't sign a replacement.

Aye, he knows this. Some part of me just doesn't trust Kinnear to negotiate/convice Cabella/his angry bosses or Grenier to join us within the forthcoming four days. Yeah I've got absolutely no faith in Kinnear's ability to convince a player. I think it's highly unlikely we'll get a replacement in this window. I actually miss Derek Llambias now!
