Mehdi Abeid scored for Panathinaikos again on his return from injury. He's been one of their better players this season. Scoring plenty goals from midfield.

Aye, with Yanga, which he's still clearly shitting nails over.
-
I'm actually not bothered about this lad anymore. Perhaps cutting my nose off to spite my face but who'd want to do business with a twat like Nicollin? No outgoings and De Jong in I'd be happy this window tbh.

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)

He was always going to leave at some point. We can't offer him champions league, or the wages he'll get there. Can anyone really blame him or the club for accepting a bid in the region of 26m. I mean seriously? I'd love him to stay, and I will be gutted, but unless we are playing in the CL he was never going to stay beyond the summer. I still personally think he will still be here at the end of this window, but leave in the summer. I hope anyway. -
French journo's have been desperate for Cabaye to go to PSG, I really don't believe anything that these so called 'experts' & 'in the knows' say.
-
Sounds like he's keen, but Montpellier doing everything in their power to keep him to aid in their relegation fight, including slagging us off in the French press.
-
Still it's a valid point though. Cisse isn't getting game time and De Jong in and no outgoings would make it harder for him. Unless we ship shola of course.

The Managerial Merry Go Round™ - Keith Andrews appointed at Brentford
NUFC_Chris replied to cp40's topic in Football
Cardiff will end up getting a 21 year old whizz kid on 'Football Manager 2013' from Bulgaria or a Thai manager no one has ever even heard of. I don't see why Malky should resign, and walk away from his pay-off which imo with the way he's been treat he is entitled to! -
Very sad! An awful accident. The pic I've just seen on twitter, don't think anyone could survive that. Hope I'm wrong.

Personally I think if Norwich DO sack Hughton, they'll almost definitely go down. Keep him, although they might struggle, he will keep them up. -
It's really getting on my tits that I'm starting to hear comments from other fans that "he's too good for Newcastle, welcome to *insert club*, he'll be off in Jan etc bla bla bla. Argh, I know I shouldn't let it wind me up but it f***** does!

Was today's normal pre-match or...?

What a complete nonce.

I couldn't live in London. Too crowded, too many tossers, and it doesn't feel like England to me anymore. All the English have escaped north! The line about there not being anything to do up here is bollocks. If you enjoy clean air, walking, bike riding, surfing, whatever, you can do it all in the NE, as well as having the benefits of a lively city.

It's come directly from the Lyon president & with Gomis claiming he agreed terms this sounds promising?

We're paying him a lot of money to pull on the jersey. If he's willing to play football in countries where gambling/drinking alcohol/ & companies like Wonga are a huge business, and can legally sponsor football clubs, in my opinion, he shouldn't bring his religion into it, just as the rest of players haven't.
-
If we we're sponsored by Ladbrokes would he have a problem I wonder? Doesn't mind picking up his 60K/week salary does he.

The blue pin stripes do funny things to my eyes. -
Our brand image is hardly good though. You won't get many respectable companies wanting to sit alongside Sports Direct and Wonga. This, unfortunately.

I've actually asked him a couple of times, and never received a reply. Perhaps, whatever it was, it's fallen through.

Aye, but Valencia did it first.
