A win at Wigan would be massive for us and would pretty much condemn Wigan imo. If we win, & Villa beat QPR at home there'll be a 6 point gap between 3rd & 4th bottom! Only trouble is, our record at Wigan is atrocious!

The way I look at it anyone up to about 12th aren't out of it. When you think it's only about 10 points from the bottom to 10th spot it could all change fairly quickly. Just hope QPR don't go on some awesome run now, but with Remy back they will get goals imo.

Wondering if there'll be many home fans at this, seeing as Moscow is nearly 1,000 miles away from Makhachkala.

I was watching the Eredivisie highlights a while back. The Twente fans had banners out reading STEVE GO NOW! Thought they'd have had a bit more patience with him tbf, seeing as he did win the title with them and they're not exactly in a bad position in the league.

Agree with all of this. Nevertheless we scored 4 goals and were worthy of the win. They're a good side in terms of no one has closed us down as quickly and as well as they have. Atmosphere was shite, everyone seemed on edge.

We'll have to match them for pace & tempo, and hopefully catch them on the counter if they're holding such a high line. We've got enough pace in the side. I'm expecting a tough game but we should be winning it.

It's bad when clubs have to employ security for their fans but Spurs have definitely been targeted by fascists. I know there has been incidents with other English clubs; Liverpool at Zenit, even some of our lads last night, but nothing on the scale of these attacks.

I think he could play anywhere he wants based on last night. Big, strong, pacy, good touch and composed on the ball. Obviously, with his physical attributes and experience he's best suited to CB, and I'd like to see him there asap as he showed he was quick and that's what we're missing back there. I agree he can play there, he's a good footballer. Just meant I think he's a bit wasted there.

He will get his chance. He has been signed for the long term, so he just needs to patient for a short while. Lets face it, Saylor will get injured at some point & Colo is most probably away in the summer.

It does concern me, yes. He clearly doesn't want to be here, expected the club to give him away a few months into a new 5 year contract, & writes a letter of apology to the club who tried to sign him for nowt. All without a thought for the club or fans he is supposed to be captain of. The only reason he hasn't walked is it would've cost him £7m. I'd be very disappointed in him if he does walk out, but I'm not buying this story at face value. I'll wait til we hear something from the club/player. On a side note, is it just me that's noticed the Independent writing a few shite hawking articles on NUFC recently?
