Have to recall Hendrick at this rate

We won the Nations League again

ACL tear is such a bitch of an injury. Always feels like no one ever gets back to 100% of where they were before, and they’re always at risk of tearing it again.
-
They’ll largely be successful doing so, too. No shortage of suitors lining up to snatch up their players over the past few years.

I’ll always love this man. One of the few things Ashley got right (and then invariably fucked up).

We have the chance to do the funniest thing ever

Welcome home, sweet prince.

Found this video interesting, and not because of Enzo Fernandez: He points out that Gallagher is, statistically, one of the best pressing AMs in the league. Makes sense why we’d have been interested in him.

The 6 we’ve been crying out for. edit: I thought you were TBG talking about the City keeper.

Barring a complete collapse from Spurs or Villa down the stretch, 5th seems out of reach. I’d put good money on us landing 6th.

Fucking hell Burnley are bad.

Bobby’s face in the moon tbh

this is the height of fashion.

1-3 you heard it here first

Surely spells the end of a long and varied career. Best of luck to him.

Maybe Howe’s the cunt.

For which there is zero evidence, mind.

I’m still not sure I buy this framing. He did three years at Brighton, six with the national team, and five with West Brom before that. Are front office staff meant to spend their entire careers with a single club? Given that he’s spent at least a few years at each of his previous roles, the fact that he’s looking to leave now after only what, a season and a half?, suggests to me that there’s more afoot than him simply being a “greedy snake.”

I’m mostly intrigued by his motivations for leaving. Could be as simple as he’s friends with Ratcliffe and the allure of rebuilding one of the largest clubs in world football is too good an opportunity to pass up. I don’t imagine money is a driver, since we’re likely paying him top dollar as it is. The narrative coming out of his camp seems to be that he feels he’s been misled regarding his role here and/or cut out of the inner circle. If true, I’m curious as to why that’s the case. It’s not preposterous to wonder if he has been treated unfairly by PIF. Could be a combination of those things! At this point it’s pure speculation.

I’d be shocked if he stays on ice until 2026. We’ll negotiate a deal, get a nice wad of cash, and he’ll be in place at ManU by this time next year at the latest.
