True, but we’re definitely not getting one for him now. For what it’d cost to extend him and what he brings in terms of leadership and consistent play, I’d rather have him back next season. Even if it means we don’t end up getting a fee in the future.

he’s right on the fence with the ‘untouchables’ category and I’d definitely have him there if he were 2 years younger. I know at a certain point we can’t just keep selling players of a certain age (because then we’d never get anywhere ), but we’re not there yet. Bruno is likely going to peak in the next couple of years and we’ll want to get as much back for him as possible. I think I’d be surprised if he were still with us the season after next.
