He is what he is. Has grown by leaps and bounds at AZ, but the service he receives for the national team is consistently pitiful. And he's not a player to go out and make things happen on his own.

I format it both ways tbh. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to suss out that it's flipped.
I'm a big fan of Castillo. He was the hero of that 1-0 victory in the Azteca last year. Solid defensively and can get up the field. If Fabian Johnson proves solid as solid at LM for us as he is with Hoffenheim, I'd feel really comfortable with a Castillo-Johnson combo on the left side. That's a fluid pairing.
He played well in the last game, tbf. It just seems weird.
It's really weird. Feels like Beasley has been playing for 15 years. Guy's only 31 years old somehow
That Front 6 is about as strong as it gets for us. It'll be interesting to see how Evans fares at RB. He's a versatile player but mostly plays CM/RM for Seattle iirc. Really been playing well this season too.
Beasley has impressed there the past few games and he doesn't track back nearly as well as Fabian Johnson when playing LM. Plus Johnson has almost exclusively played LM for Hoffenheim over the past couple months. He does offer a lot going forward.
The standard commentating line-up they trot out for U.S. games is woeful. Lalas is complete crap, Twellman is obnoxious, and Cobi Jones seems clueless. Keller is the only one I really enjoy.
