Pienaar on the bench Of course he doesn't do anything for the past 2 months and pulls 9 points today
Thought I'd be zany and make Nolan captain this week. Brilliant Deuce, brilliant.
That's why I'm glad we don't have a national footie stadium in the states. No matter where they put it, it'd undoubtedly be inaccessible to the majority of the population (I have a feeling they'd build it in NYC, despite the lackluster support there).
Love seeing games in places like Columbus and Kansas City, cities with rabid national team support. If Portland and Seattle ever got real grass pitches, those environments would be electric for the national side.
Not a fan.
I bet you would be if it was played all over America
Can you imagine? There'd be mass rioting.
Or based on the attitudes I witnessed this past summer, pure apathy
Every season. You know they'll finish in the top 4 like they do every year. And their fans will regale everyone with their "trials and tribulations" and how it's "so tough to be a committed fan of Arsenal."

Is this his 10th Season at Chelsea now?
how in gods name has he pulled off still being there, his agent must be a hypnotist or something
His cover's blown now, Abramovich will have him out the door by week's end.
I don't get this at all. I guess you can never have enough young, quality fullbacks. But they'll have Bertrand, Azpilicueta, van Aanholt, Hutchinson, and now Wallace, all under 23 years old.
Good shout.
Any other examples of wingers going back to full back later on in their careers?
Nobby.
I like this idea. Push him from winger to central midfielder to right-back to eventually pushing him off the field entirely.
