I agree to an extent but it still looks the most solid selection in the race for me. Reckon Channons horse could be dangerous as well as a couple of other potential improvers. Like I say, I don't fancy anything today. My gaffer reckons Integral is a knocking bet mind. He's just nipped to Betfred and put £600 on

Ivawood/Easton Angel/Integral/Ectot - £1 Lucky 15 I don't really fancy anything today so going to leave the rest alone and just enjoy watching the racing.
-
Top performance from Gleneagles Had Gleneagles/Solow double so it's going to end a very decent profitable day.
-
A big field over the minimum trip is a punters nightmare. Always tend to leave that race alone.
-
Not going to have a bet in the Kings Stand now that Meccas Angel is out. I'm hoping Sole Power will win but I can't back a horse that relies on so much luck in running.
-
Only ever ran twice on 'Good' ground and won twice. I wouldn't be giving up hope just yet. Its out now

Solow had all the proven form. As I said earlier, Able Friend was a bit of an unknown quantity that always gave the impression that he could flop.
-
Solow and Gleneagles really should win on all known form although the Hong Kong challenger in the first is a bit of an unknown quantity. Coventry Stakes - Round Two has been backed well in ante-post markets and Bolger rates the horse highly. Hasn't looked visually top class in first couple of runs but has ran all the way to the line on both occasions. There is a lot of potential improvers in the race and I fancy Qeyaadah to run a big race at a big price. Kings Stand - Another open race but I'll be having a speculative couple of quid on the Dods runner, Mecca's Angel. The other races don't interest me from a betting perspective but it'll be interesting to see how the yank horse goes in the Windsor Castle.
-
Dods has got a runner in the Kings Stand at Ascot today as well. Mecca's Angel - it's not without a chance but always a tricky race to pick the winner of.
-
Did anyone watch the race? I missed the race but got told the horse blew the start. If that's the case and it still won over the minimum trip then it's some effort. Finally a forum bet lands I thought this thread was cursed!

5/1,11/2 ish. 8 runner race so e/w will get you money back if it is placed. I trust the lad who gave me the tip so will have a decent bet. Please don't take this as gospel and lump on as I dont want anyone to lose money.

THIS ISN'T A f***ing THING. You're just not...what was the word that was used again? Erudite, I believe.

I'm really quite suprised that Ings is the more lauded of the two tbh. I thought Austin looked a lot better than Ings last season.

Stoke have been heavily linked with Yevhen Konoplyanka over the past couple of days. Surely this is someone we should be looking at. He's available on a free and looks a class above every time I see him.
-
Just looked on his twitter, he hasn't made any tweets for nearly a week now. Cunt's went on his holiday just as they are about to appoint a new manager.
-
He saw and identify him 3 years before he joins Manchester. He didn't scout him when he plays for Athletico. Top wummery.

First couple of pages in this thread are LOLZ.

Got a tip for a horse called Olivia Fallow, running at Chester on Saturday (same owner as Jonny Cavagin). All I've been told is "expecting a big run" and they're taking it to Chester for a £13k race instead of Cork (on Sunday) for an 11k race. They originally wanted to go to Ireland but the Chester race is "very winnable".
-
Not this year though
-
I wouldn't personally. They only need another hour or so play and they'll have England all out I reckon.
-
Overcast at the moment. Forecast looks fine, chance of the odd shower later.
-
I f***ing hope so. Couple of early wickets and I'm cashing out. I put more on when they declared, foolishly believing the forecast that a couple of showers was as bad as it would get. Forecast keeps being revised for the better tomorrow but I'm believing nothing. Do they ever start early to try and make up time? The rigid 11am start really annoys me in test cricket generally, it's too late. Don't cash out. Absolute knocking bet NZ here. 98 overs to survive on the last day is a huge amount of time - can't quite believe they were 15/8 last night
