  1. He doesn’t need to speak to them, he’s a mate of Brailsford, he’ll know all about what his role will be and salary already.
  2. Frank Chippa ? https://x.com/francischipp/status/1757711774000861417?s=46&t=RaLdCRuzyWBbm603Y3eUgg
  3. Absolutely and I couldn’t give a fuck if the rest of the clubs hate us….fuck them. The best way though is a legal challenge.
  4. Would imagine Brentford wouldn’t be happy so gardening leave expected for him too.
  5. Richard Hughes……..no where near the experience or track record of Ashworth. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Hughes_(footballer)
  6. Our way to the top is being blocked at every turn, not just by FFP but now more onerous FMV rules to block sponsorship deals. If we find loopholes you can bet your life the cartel clubs will shut those down by bringing in more rules. They don’t want a powerful NUFC.
  7. If Brailsford is best pals with Ashworth he’ll already know what they have planned as well………it really is down to him deciding if he wants to go.
  8. Exactly, he was a local lad…………….had he been a London lad or a Leeds lad would he have stayed? I doubt it. As soon as Keegan walked he would’ve likely been off.
  9. We’ll become Bournemouth of the North if he’s appointed and Billing and Solanke end up here……what a fucking thought.
  10. What’s he called? Is he on Bournemouth’s staff? https://www.premierleague.com/clubs/127/Bournemouth/directory
  11. Man City never had the same standing as their neighbours…..look at them now. Man U have global standing huge fan base and can’t compete financially or on the pitch. I know all the charges and claims of cheating will be called out on here re City which will go no where imo. It’s all about finance whether we like it or not and until the rules are changed we’re little different to how we were under Ashley…unable to compete for players and the best backroom staff.
  12. How long a go did he leave Bournemouth and why? If it’s any length of time and he’s good at the job why’s he not been snapped up?
  13. Might as well go for Billing, Solanke as well…..
  14. They do, however not with the kind of media attention that’s on us, granted it’s largely because it’s Man U. Not a good look especially if he’s not replaced by someone of equal ability and reputation. Couple of months back the former DoF at Bournemouth was mentioned, I fucking hope not!!
  15. So ambitious staff move on to bigger clubs, players will also do the same and it says everything about the club.
  16. Agreed, and the optics for the club not being able to hang on to critical staff is not good.
  17. For me, making FMV and Party related and Associated Party rules more onerous could be the final straw for us though and the club must at least be talking about this. I know people argue we’d be unpopular but we are now given the PiF ownership they already hate us anyway, nowt to lose. The already wealthy teams will target staff like Ashworth and if he goes they target players like Bruno, Isak Botman etc.
  18. I know the press assumed it was Man City who threatened legal action at the last PL meeting, I have a feeling it was the club. Just after we were took over and the PL met to bring in FMV, a meeting Charnley attended, the club told them what they were doing was illegal. Challenge FMV and FFP probably would go to. I don’t want the club to spend multi millions on players etc but I do want the club to be able to compete on a level playing field and the only way to do that is to get rid of FMV and. FFP.
  19. Then legally challenge FFP at a CAT or this kind of thing will happen time and time again.
