Clearly it’s been agreed that 3 person panel of very experienced legal experts was the way to go.

The PL are the opposition, City choose one, PL choose one and one Independent with the agreement of both parties.
-
PL clubs will know, they were informed of the arbitration hearing and it’s rumoured strongly that Arsenal leaked it to the media.
-
If City win we could ask for the Sela, and Noon sponsorship to be re-assessed given that both would have been passed for FMV by the PL? We could also claim compo🤣

Any regulator would only have a budget of £10 million……….tiny by PL standards, not sure what we can expect from them. https://www.aoshearman.com/en/insights/moving-the-goalposts-football-governance-bill

Contracts for sponsorship can be renegotiated at anytime surely? The club could enter negotiations with Sela now to increase the annual amount if both parties agree.
-
It certainly will in relation to ATP rules, I’m surprised there’s been no leaks…….might still be a few weeks before a determination is made, not that it’ll be announced. If City wins the ATP rules they want to bring in won’t go ahead.

Even this gobshite accepts PSR/FFP is protectionist.

Wow………at first i thought i saw swastika’s in the design on the GK shirt………mind it would be quite apt for Sunderland

Man U look to be using lawyers to “unblock” rules in the Todibo transfer from INEOS owned Nice. City use lawyers or if we did they’d be fucking raging. Hypocrites.
-
Man U, these deals likely mean Everton don’t have to sell Branthwaite.

Exclusion Orders are rarely granted, it’s usually in times of war, pandemics etc when such orders are made.
-
Arbitration is about PL rules, in particular APT, being unlawful in that they breach UK competition law. The 20 PL clubs can vote in whatever rules they like but they have to be within the law.
-
I believe it could be 4-6 weeks, however there won’t be any public announcement given that the arbitration process is supposed to be confidential. There could be the inevitable leaks although there hasn’t been during the two week hearing, I hope this is an indication that things aren’t going the PL’s way, if it was I’m sure the journo’s would be busting a gut to get something out there.

The arbitration panel is made up of three highly qualified and experienced lawyers/former judges, if their decision is that the APT rule would/could breach competition law, the PL would have a decision to make. They either remove the APT rule or go to a CAT that they are likely to lose.
