  1. They are…….the new APT rules are much more onerous and wide ranging. RPT is, as I understand common practice in business as long as accountancy rules are followed and any transactions are transparent they can’t be prevented. Mind I’m not an expert by any stretch of the imagination, just my take on things that I’ve read.
  2. That’s exactly what the new APT rules are aimed at, could even include the Gulf region. the new rules are much wider and open to interpretation.
  3. FMV would still apply, however if City win their case it would remove obstacles the PL are putting in place to prevent other PIF companies from sponsoring us of which there are many. That could be very lucrative for the club. @madras soz quoted the wrong post
  4. They reckon there won’t be any announcements, the new APT rules will just be dropped. If it goes against City you can bet it will be leaked to the press by one of the usual suspects.
  5. IMO the club could be waiting for the outcome of City’s APT rules arbitration. If it goes City’s way then any RPT could be a lot more lucrative.
  6. Could also be waiting for result of City’s APT arbitration before announcing any new sponsorship deals.
  7. Some huge German conglomerates have very close links with the top German teams………probably helps them a lot I’d think.
  8. On the remote chance of Howe going to England I’d be in for Tommy Teuchal as a replacement.
  9. Kieran Maguires input is always worth a listen. He mentioned a case before the European courts that could blow the transfer system apart creating a Wild West for players.
  10. Roker Mackem on RTG, Human Rights activist, I did a search on RTG and it’s interesting to see when he suddenly found his so called moral compass. He’s a complete fraud. Nothing found.
  11. Ok…….he’s not naive, just fucking stupid.
  12. There are rules about owning more than one club in the same competition……..surely you’re not that naive.
  13. Mind Charnley was often discussed on here under FCB’s tenure.
  14. Darren Eales, I would have thought?
  15. I doubt a football regulator will get into the nitty gritty of how individual clubs organise their commercial activities. It’ll be major decisions like defecting to unauthorised competitions like an ESL.
  16. It was reported on Sky Sports this afternoon too.
  17. No statement from the club yet confirming Stavely is selling?
  18. Didn’t someone post a Nike ad made for the Saudi market highlighting women’s sports and in particular football? I see them continuing with investment in the womens team tbh.
  19. Reported on Sky that PIF have bought them🤷‍♂️
  20. Given that this is now out there I would hazard a guess that their shares in the club have already been sold to PIF or the Reubens.
