If I'm understanding you right those were my initial thoughts too. I'd imagine the piracy stuff didn't help matters and pushed the PL to find ways to try and stall/block the takeover, but now that the positions are entrenched and they are going down the separation route I've got no idea how this plays out Hopefully they can get back round the table.

Luke 'there is no takeover' Edwards. If it doesn't go through I hope people see that it is in no way any kind of vindication for him. He's not some galaxy brain who was steps ahead of everyone else, or who has any special insight into the case/NUFC. He's just a relentlessly negative bellend who might end up being correct overall despite getting the actual detail wrong all the way through.

The logic is that the PL has some skeletons in the closet with regards to how they've handled this, outside influence etc. If it is forced to be in public then the PL are more likely to settle before it gets to that point. Or at the very least they get shown up to be a bunch of mugs.
