Been a very good game so far.

Their next game is as good a game as you can get at this stage to be honest. Southampton have lost 6 of their last 7 league games, are generally very poor away (W2 D3 L7) and this is their last game before their League Cup final so i doubt they will be making last ditch tackles etc. If you can get 2/1 or equivalent on Sunderland then i'll probably stick a bit on it.

We all agree the preferred outcome in the West Yorkshire derby is: 1) Draw 2) Huddersfield 3) Leeds Looking forward to this one

Quite interesting seeing respective clubs records this season for league games on Sky in terms of both how many times they have featured and how they generally fare. Our record isn't great when you consider our non Sky record is P19 W16 D0 L3, but villa's record is shocking as away from the cameras they have P15 W7 D5 L3. Our game vs Brentford was initially meant for Sky but was removed and i think we have 4 games in the coming 6 weeks or so on Sky, whereas Villa just have 1 more - against us. Howay the draw, both drop 2 points, Brighton are still within one game of us and Huddersfield don't get too much in the mix bearing in mind the will be 7 behind with us still to go there where they have been very good this season.

But then again, i'd gladly take 2nd place now if offered.

Not concerned at all about Town? 7 behind if they win here and are excellent at home, have a great record against the 'big boys' and we still have to go there. Would prefer a draw myself and had this have been Brighton vs Leeds or Reading then i'd want Brighton to win.

Good chance there for Udders and Brighton could have been down to 10 min inside the first 2 mins. Bruno already booked would have been booked a second time had he already not have been booked after 30 seconds

Think it more shows how much of an inconvenience the FA Cup has become to those in the top flight and those chasing promotion in the championship. Leeds are on TV every other week and i'd hardly heard of many of those players. Us making 9 changes, Brighton a similar amount. Pretty much two different teams in the Southampton game yesterday. It's a real shame to see. Good story for Lincoln and Sutton of course, but they were both in and around 4/1 to win their matches which is hardly monumental when you consider you could get 12/1 on Rotherham to win last week. Oxford shortened to 12/5 yesterday when the teams were announced.

Still annoyed by the team he put out. If you took that team and made 3 or 4 additions it would have been absolutely fine and would still have been 4 or 5 changes from the team that beat Rotherham Darlow for Sels - i know about the argument of playing your reserve keeper in the cup games and so man do it, but Sels just doesn't inspire confidence - to anyone. The chances of the keeper getting injured / suspended is far less than an attacker as well. Lascelles for Good - Jamaal has been left out a couple of times recently and throwing Good in from the middle of nowhere was silly. It's a bit different to that Birmigham game. Firstly we were at home and secondly, Oxford were always going to be much more up for this game - they wee at home to a team that still has a big reputation in a higher league whereas Brum would have seen it as an inconvenience - they made numerous changes to the first match so knew it wasn't a priority for them. Gouff/ Ritchie for the lad with the Youtube skills Darlow Gamez Hanley Jamaal Haidara Ritchie Barlaser Heyden Lazaar Perez Mitro That instantly looks much stronger. Here you're not playing 3 inexperienced lads away from home, you don't have a liability in goal and you have a bit of flair and creativity from Ritchie. Shelvey, Gouff, Yedlin, Dummett, Clark, Murphy could have all been rested for QPR and i doubt there'd be many complaints about that team. Just seems such a waste of a winnable tie.

Great news. We all know about Newcastle and England's horrendous penalty records, plus Sunderland beating Man Utd a few year ago - was struggling to think of the last shootout where i was pleased with the outcome. Weds will likely be too soon but should be well in contention for Derby next Saturday.

Another great win for Blyth today and also good news that Stourbridge were well beaten. Spenny match was postponed. Would be great if the season ended now with Blyth promoted and Spenny, Workington and Whitby would take 3 of the 4 playoff places - all of those sides would be bold in the old Sunday Sun

3 or 4 (at most) changes maybe, but not bloody 9. People think this is premier league vs national league but they are midtable in the one league below us, at home and coming in off the back of a great 4-0 away win at Rochdale. Arrogant at best, disgraceful at worst. Load of shite.

Brighton losing as well so a good chance we'll get the Villa game on the 20th and Brighton on the 28th as planned
