  1. West Ham ahead after 8 mins, Paqueta.
  2. A shame both Brighton and West Ham are on at the same time (now) as both matches look like proper ties. West Ham seem to have gone pretty strong against Freiburg, most of the key players seem to be starting, yet they are still slight underdogs. Edit - they were underdogs about 30 mins ago, but are now slight faves, but either way, it's a close match on paper. Is it wrong to say hopefully they get the odd slight niggle ahead of Sunday.
  3. Just about to say Schaar has been the player of the match by far after the tackle, but then WOW.
  4. Murphy hasn't been on it since he's come on.
  5. On the bench vs At Madrid in the 5.45pm match.
  6. Fuck sake, the Goals Show made it look like it was Galatasaray that scored to go 2-1 up, not the other way round
  7. Twice in 2 game weeks that Union have conceded an injury time goal to lose the match. Last kick of the game here.
  8. Salzburg vs Sociedad or Union Berlin vs Braga at 5.45?
  9. Christ, game over already. 0-2.
  10. 1-0 Chelsea, Mudryk. It had been coming, Fulham have barely got going.
  11. At Madrid vs Feyenoord is one of the two 5.45pm matches on Wednesday, so a good chance to see him (should he feature of course).
  12. 2 years ago today. The final match of the Mike Ashley era.
  13. That lengthy gap has actually got me quite looking forward to this Rennes vs Nantes derby on TNT. Rennes unbeaten in the league, but have drawn their last 5, Nantes unbeaten in 4. Can't say I've heard of many of these players. Mandonda and Matic for Rennes. Didn't realise our old boy Sissoko was at Nantes these days, but he's on the bench tonight along with Marquinhos, on loan from Arsenal.
  14. Didn't even realise that he played for River Plate now. I always thought that River were the most iconic club in Argentina, but Boca seem to be the general consensus.
  15. The match definitely picked up from the red card onwards after a dross first hour. I was hoping Forest would hang on (they did), and even Chrissy Wood had a chance to win it in injury time.
  16. You wouldn't think a team (Brentford) would normally only be 11/4 to win in the 92nd minute, ha.
  17. Gibbs White with a great challenge, potentially match saving. Should have been hacked down earlier.
  18. Forest down to 10, and Brentford have just scored from the free kick, so the complexion has totally changed, although it is subject to VAR.
  19. You'd often get this type of match on Sunday at 2pm, but you'd pretty much always have one of the bigger / better clubs, often against each other, or at least away to a fairly significant club at 4.30pm, so often a kind of get it out of the way to the main event, but it's grim when this is the main event . Sunday 4.30pm is definitely the best slot of the week for an armchair fan IMO, which does make it more annoying.
  20. Not the most glamourous PL game, but at least there's no obvious favourite which always adds a bit more intrigue. I didn't know who the bookies would favour here and have just seen it's 13/8 (Forest) vs 15/8 at Bet365, so very close.
