A defensive mistake, but cracking finish by Billy Sharp.

Always annoys me when people just start an email with 'Simon', 'George' etc. it doesn't take 5 seconds to add a 'Hi' and comes off much more friendlier and less aggressive.

I didn't even realise he was there, but aye, both start tonight. I might keep half an eye on the match, especially with it being against a reasonably local side (to those further West) in Queen of the South. Probably switch between that and Sheff Utd vs Wrexham on ITV4. Apologies for those expecting a Kuol update

Just saw that Hamilton vs Hearts in the Cup is live on the BBC platform (BBC Scotland, iPlayer, website etc.) on Friday night. Not only does it have a bit of a classic cup tie feel about it, there's possibly a decent chance that both Kuol and Dylan Stephenson will start for their respective sides. (Hamilton are also live on the BBC platform tonight in a lesser cup against Queen of the South).

Rightful Marrabao Cup 2014 winners, marra.

Last two matches you'd have thought there would have been a decent chance to gain a fair bit on Spurs, but it's them who have actually gained 4 points on us. Palace (A), West Ham (H), 2 points Fulham (A), Man City (H), 6 points

We've seen more of Surridge in 5 mins than we did of Wood for over 70.

Probably play in the two European games.

If he is, MU have 3 more league games before the final.

Another 1-0 win for West Brom tonight. Back in the playoffs. P.S. This c*nt will obviously be hoping his beloved United win on the 26th. -
Great. Well done Fulham!

Just remembered Fulham also conceded a 93rd minute winner against Man Utd (Garnacho) just before the World Cup. Hopefully not same again against one of the better sides.

They're not battering down the door, but I am still expecting Chelsea to get a late winner. Mind, we did as well against these, which would have been annoying to the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs etc.

Thought he was off there. They're obviously nothing alike, but I sometimes get him and Paulinha mixed up (with being new and beginning with P), so thought it was a second yellow. Mind, there was a VAR check. Seems to be fine.

It was pretty one sided coverage, and some Saints fans weren't happy: https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/topic/59873-sky-tv-last-night/ Must admit this one did make me laugh out loud: I don’t think you understand Nick. Unlike any other city in the world Newcastle people work all week and at the weekend like to get their money and enjoy themselves, they like watching their team. They also love a striker up there. Such great people a great city and club. I for one was pleased to lose to them.

Real Madrid vs Valencia build up starting now on ITV4. Kick off 8pm.

Unfortunately not many outside of Sunderland care about us, they never have done and never will. I stopped getting pissed off about it a long time ago. I just don't care anymore. Totally agree. They play good football and are unfortunately only going to get better over the years. We just need to concentrate on ourselves. So what if we will always play second fiddle to them, we're used to it to be honest. I honestly don't even care about them. I mean I guess nothing he's saying is untrue of course, but he just joined last week, 5 posts and pretty much everyone of them is subtly derogatory. Needs to be a bit less obvious.

My sons school got 50 tickets last week from SAFC. I'm lead to believe that all 50 of these tickets will count towards the attendance figure, even if they're not all taken up and used on the day. Surely that can't be true. It would make a mockery of any attendance figure as it won't be the only school to get a few. Is that someone off here?

It's a goal keeper for Forest. I'm mainly just watching this Carabao Cup match to see if there's any Andy Carroll like drama. Would have watched Hearts had that have been on Sky or BT, but don't have access to dodgy channels.

Very strong Man Utd team. I know they are at home and might want to put on a show etc. but I'd have definitely been resting a few of the key players, especially with their forthcoming schedule. 3-0 from the away leg is a massive, almost insurmountable, lead. Thoughts Frogster?
