Really? I thought it was pretty deft in the first half, struggled last few times he's received the ball though. Agreed, his feet have been as tricky as ever. Hes been fairly isolated but definitely not his best game, looks a bit off as I mentioned earlier.

Was the fault of anyone who was in and around the box, naive of them to just assume Chelsea would load the box and swing one in, they should all be ready for any inevitability, Chelsea did well with though and caught us out, it happens.

Not having chance to have a great game. He's never shone at #9, but all he needs is one opening. Happy to see him there and not worried by how the first half went for him. Hes been on the ball a fair bit and his footwork and first touch have let him down, but some players are beyond criticism on here. To say hes not been his best in 45 minutes of football isn't saying hes not a class young player or that I'm getting on his back, it's simply pointing out that he hasn't had a great half, hopefully he can come out second half and nab a goal or two.

I sincerely hope you guys are right but the way I see Ashley now is just having us stutter along doing the bare minimum. This a man who was willing to keep Pardew on even after out infamous losing run of games and now is only looking to make the appointment because Pardew left of his own accord, I just can't see his policies changing from Alan Pardew, poor football, no ambition to good manager, lets go out and win everything because I want the club to do well. Just not buying it. Having said that I'm still obviously 1000% behind the potential appointment of Garde or anyone similar and think it will benefit the club massively in terms of playing style, results and the progression of players and of course bringing dignity back to the job, but is that enough to change Mike Ashley? I hope so.

The policy of the cup competitions has more to do with the owner and his ambitions for the club rather than any managerial appointment, under any manager we could have the policy would remain the same, no interest in cups and premier league survival is paramount. The best we can hope for is that we end up doing well in the cups under a new manager who can handle both competitions and Ashley being the mercurial man he is decides to change his stance. But really why would he? His way guarantees in his mind that the money keeps on rolling in with minimal outlay. I really doubt that the policy was created because of Pardew alone.

Don't think he will leave, has easily been his best season for us but still don't think hes been good enough to get a big enough bid in, I think anyone interested will see how the rest of the season goes and get him in the summer. I do think we'll lose him just not yet.

What else can they sing? Something that doesn't perpetuate the idea that we don't accept southerners? It's f***ing embarrassing, I absolutely despise it. Yep.
