Knowing Pardew he'll put Cisse back on the wing to accommodate Gomis.
-
Big central striker, good in the air, and decent hold up play, never seen him play out wide and doesn't have the attributes to do so. Haven't seen a vast amount of him but that's what I get from him.
-
What sort of goal return would you have liked to see in the last two seasons to prove that hes "good enough" ? 50 goals in 50 games? Should we sign him he should score goals for us.
-
Wouldn't want him sold at any price really but we shouldn't even be glancing at any offers under 10 million, especially considering who the bidding club is rumoured to be...

I honestly can't see us being as s*** as last season,he played a lot on the wing and looked out of confidence. Played as the main striker with hopefully some better service i think he could score 20. Unless we have very different definitions of 'a lot' he really didn't play a lot on the wing at all. He played about 6 games there, that isn't a lot when he played nearly 40 games. Long enough to affect his confidence and morale though one could argue?

Pre-season specialist Haris Vučkić joins FC Twente
Tiotes Witch Doctor replied to Skirge's topic in Football
Not that I'm a talent scout but I really don't like Vuckic as a player, I just think hes far too slow and clunky to ever keep up with the pace of this league, he seems to want an age on the ball and still cant make out what his best position is. Really hope he proves me wrong though because he seems to have the right attitude and does seem to pop up with the odd goal here and there. Would love to see him Campbell, Streete and Richardson make more of a mark this season. -
Happy about this.

That was tongue in cheek, but you get my gist.
-
How can he refute the fact that we played negative football last season? We were just constantly camped in our own half shit scared of the opposition at 0-0 or 1-0 to us, and even playing for a low scoring loss against the bigger teams, defending the 1-0 loss and such. I hate this cunt and cant wait till Kinnear replaces him at Xmas.

I love Santon but my list of who to play at LB next season would be 1. Yanga 2. Haidara 3. Santon

Be expecting 6 points from the first 3 will we? I'll be expecting 2 at best.

Theres no doubt in my mind that Jonas will not only stay but still be the undroppable starter he was last season.

This quote is where it all stopped being funny for me, the stark reality that this jibbering old fool is our DoF and its going to be a long horrible road ahead for all involved. Matt Spiro @mattspiro 5h Cabaye is high up on Monaco wish list. Arrival of a sporting director who calls him Yohan Kebab unlikely to convince him to stay at #NUFC

Peter Charles @peter27afcb 11m Dont sell Kebab, Yohan Kebab, I dont think ya really understand. If you sell Kebab, Yohan Kebab, you're gonna get chilli sauce on your hands

Here we go, brace yourselves.
-
Is this really that much better? (apart from not having to have our players appear in sports direct TV ads) Give it time.

Not wanting to piss all over the good news but been having a chat with a couple of mates and the debate arose that even if he stays he clearly doesn't want to be here and seems underwhelmed judging by the quotes about actually being here and why would we want a player who A, doesnt want to be here and B, who's performances on the field could be affected by this. A valid point but I was more of the thinking that Colo seems like a professional and would probably say that we would still get more assured performances from him than indeed Yanga-Mbiwa (who's still settling in) or any potential new CB to bed in also. Is anyone worried about this? Do you believe his performances may stagnate as time goes on?

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)
Tiotes Witch Doctor replied to a topic in Football
Luke Edwards @LukeEdwardsTele 14s Wonder whether Cabaye had medical at Monaco but didn't tell #nufc on basis they don't expect fee to be a problem. Dangerous game if he did
