It was originally a big mistake from Gouffran to allow him in but lets be fair, he is a right footed striker who is basically used as a left wing back

I, and many others had all but wrote him off based on last seasons shambles, but he really seems to have sorted himself out and hes been exceptional for the most part this season, a big factor is that hes managed to avoid his usual bout of niggling injuries, hes bang in form at the moment. It also means I don't have to change my username

Was alright today but still think Haidara showed more in 10 minutes than Santon did for most of the game, really think Haidara is a talent and should be well in line to start.

You can't have seen him against City on opening day then.... He does a job but that's it, should always play CB and its a joke he was ever moved from CB to begin with as he and Williamson were playing great together. Really frustrating as he'll play there till Debuchy comes back and then go to the bench. Did you see the rest of the feckers on the opening day performance? harsh to judge on that overall performance. I completely agree that ideally he should be partnering Williamson as he complements him well but I think his stand out performances have been at fullback, hes comfortable on the ball and has quick feet to get forward and back no problem. Can't wait for Debuchy to come back mind.

Think he always looks better in the fullback positions.

That's been a consistent problem with us for a long time, most of our crosses and cutbacks are aimed near post and nobody ever runs there, they all seem to gather at the far post, that coupled with the fact that our final ball is horrendous 75% of the time means no success.

I think its about time this lad gets a frigging start, Gouffran quite clearly needs a rest and Hatem looked shit hot today when he came on, they couldn't get near him. Gouff for Hatem for the next game.

Worst part of this is we'll probably go out and lose 3-0 and get a player sent off for our troubles.

Easily better than Sammy, Marveaux and Obertan, would have made a very useful squad player provided Pardew could resist the urge to play him every second of every game. I'm certainly not happy to see the back of him, yet another capable squad player gone.

These will stay up in my opinion, Poyet is a good manager and isn't shit scared of the opposition, sets the team out to go for it for the most part and there is a steady improvement under his time there, even with the absolute dross squad he is working with, would have been perfect for us.

I would be happy with Cabella + a striker if thats all we're willing to stretch to, but I would wager that we wont even get anywhere near that.

Would happily take Moyes off their hands if they want to replace him mind.

Lets just hope his ambition as a young player is to come to a club that's aims are to finish mid table, avoid Europe at all costs and not challenge for any silverware.

Sounded just as ineffective on the right as he is on the left, Debuch and Haidara should be our two starting fullbacks as soon as the next two games are over.
