Pardew ruining Townsends resurgence under Rafa, while simultaneously going on a classic Pardew run of form and the fans starting to turn on him Long may this continue, just need to see him crying on the touchline before hes sacked though.

His biggest limitation as a player is his lack of pace, you rarely ever see him beating his man, relies more on 1-2's and good positional sense, but even that hasn't been there for quite a while now.

Same points after 21 games as the Hughton season, but we only picked up 6 points from our following 4, think we'll manage more than that this time looking at our next set of fixtures. More losses under Rafa but more wins and less draws. Also Brighton are having a cracking season as we were already 8 points clear of 2nd by this point last time.

Overall not the best defensive display and we would have conceded IMO against a better side. 2-0 win though and another 3 points back top of the league, I'll take it. Hayden was probably man of the match but Diame was a close second. I would like to see us get at teams more and we have a tendency to sit back and look vulnerable once we're in front which is frustrating but we're still winning, so not too much to worry about, all about getting the job done and getting promoted ASAP.

So many defensive errors, Ritchie like playing with 10 and Gayle completely isolated, but Rafa rarely changes it, and can't see him changing it here till too late, just have to hope we dont concede one or score one against the run of play.
