  1. He would provide more cover to the defence than Colback or Hayden do, not really sure how that's pointless considering the amount of times Sheff Wed played it through the middle with ease on Monday. I'd also like to keep my username. Didn't see the last game but I just think we have so much possession in most games it'd be pointless to have a player like Tiote in there Would agree and in a perfect world I don't want him here but when your best CM is out and one of the alternatives is Colback, we might as well use him.

  3. There will be a meltdown on here if we lose tomorrow. And rightly so to an extent.
  4. Think he would do well in this league personally, was one of the better players in our unbeaten run before relegation and is head and shoulders above Colback, would have Tiote in and give Hayden more license to get forward (hes looked effective doing so at times this season) and keep Diame behind Gayle, because he isn't going to go 4-4-2, no matter how many times people say it.
  5. Has created as many chances as your mate Shelvey this season if a 3rd party, untrusted article is to believed. Is a chance created classed as any ball hoyed into the area though? No doubt. No. Either way the quality of the ball can sometimes determine what happens with the finish, I remember Sissoko being top 3 in the league for chances created last season, enough said.

  7. He's done pretty much as well as we expected, wouldn't call it a miracle Aye, McClaren would have probably gave us a good go of getting back into the PL truth be told, but all the background work and restoring some class and pride to the club is invaluable. But on the football side of things we wont really experience the full Rafa benefit until we're back in the big time.
  8. Imaging having him as an option over the likes of Perez man, stuff of dreams.
  9. He might have an initial good reaction on a new club but still cant see him having the nous to sort Swansea out, they are a mess.
  10. Diame deeper fills me with dread tbh, but anything is better than Colback.
  11. Yes, they always show Home games in NINE. Been like that since it opened. Well fuck my arse I had no idea, why have I been listening to the radio some home games
  12. I was in the NINE bar before the game on boxing day and I'm sure the announcer said they show all home games in there on the tellies, can anyone confirm this or was I hearing things? Waited too long to get a Forest ticket and fancy watching it.
  13. Some people don't know they're born/remember that our last three managers were John Carver, Steve McLaren, and Alan Pardew. It's quite alarming how quickly people have taken things for granted. We're owed NOTHING by Rafa, learn to have a bit of faith and humility. So hes not allowed criticism at all?
  14. Losing 6 games in half a season in the championship isn't particularly impressive and there's some definite concerns about the mentality of the team, the second we went 1-0 down yesterday it was obvious to everyone we weren't going to come back, players are declining and the general play is poor to watch even when we win. Even the best managers have to tweak things and make changes, he has made errors in judgement in my opinion and he should be looking at rectifying them. Its alright saying "in Rafa we trust" and "Do you think you know better than Rafa?" But at the end of the day things do need to pick up a bit, luckily hes such a good manager that I have faith he will get it sorted.
  15. Hayden seems to have no inbetween though, hes either class and running the game or completely shit. Would ideally like someone better to partner Shelvey for the rest of the season, we were absolutely rank in midfield tonight, but mind you I thought it looked like both Hayden and Colback were told to sit deep, which is utterly ridiculous as Hayden has looked effective when getting forward, we're in the championship, we don't need two sitting CM's unless one of them has a ridiculous passing range (Shelvey) We need improvements in Jan, we shouldn't, but we do. It's alright saying we're top and Rafa is world class, but we're slipping, and 6 points isn't a huge margin.
  16. We had no answer today, just as we had no answer against Blackburn and with a very different tactical approach from both teams, it seems we are easily outfoxed tactically and I'm quite surprised at that, Rafa's general in game management has left me puzzled at times, we approached the game no differently at any point in the game to try and get something from it. It's confusing and a bit worrying.
  17. It's been the same tactics all season. Can't say it's good tactics when we win and bad tactics when we lose.. Even when we've won a large percentage of the time our general play has been poor, everyone is afraid to say it after a win though because its classed as negativity and you get pelters.
  18. But what if the balanced view was that he was poor as he misplaced an incredible amount of passes and lost out in a lot of tackles? Which he did.
