Upgrade on Jozy. If he scores goals and we stay up the next couple of seasons I think he's worth it. Hopefully it means a change in approach. If we go two up top it might mean we push further up the pitch and press more from the front. If he plays as a lone striker with no one within 30 yards of him we're going down and be lumbered with an ageing striker on a fair wedge. Saying that I think we don't sign anyone unless they agree to a relegation wage drop these days. Very much in the wait and see camp at present.

Poyet will have his bi-yearly whinge. It's to be expected now. I don't want him gone and his style of football is expected. As has been mentioned his hands are tied by the players he's got. He has to keep it tight. His back four is ageing badly. We're exceptionally vulnerable to pace. Van Aanholt the quickest of the lot was shown up defensively several times today by Markovic who I haven't been particularly impressed with so far. Good record against yourselves and the escape and cup run last season I'm willing to put up with a season of this provided we survive. It's like you say we're about where you are now. Definitely related to Colback and Alnwick Not at all. Not related, not even ginger. But I do want to see a Geordie lad do well for my club, and he's the best prospect we've got, at the moment, of doing that. I just think that Colback is a Premiership quality midfielder, who we got for nothing, and I think that's a good deal. I'm prepared to back my opinion over any other on here. He replaced Cabaye who we sold for 20 million. By all accounts it was a s*** deal. Think you did plenty, better chances and we never looked that close to scoring. Thought you were the better side for a few spells. First 15 definitely and in the 2nd half for periods. Probably right in the sense we created more clear cut chances but I wasn't overly impressed with us.
