Barely seen him play. Genuinely good enough or someone we were right to miss out on?
-
28 years old, stop start season last year, Russian clubs apparently sniffing around him and Darren Bent seemingly very keen on signing for us.. As Minhosa said, the writings on the wall once you go against the top brass. I'd be sad to see Cisse go as he's a likeable bloke, he tries his best and he's capable of scoring from nothing. The resolution to all of this is so easy, it's frustrating that It can't be settled.

I am still massively disappointed that the club have stooped so low as to have Wonga as our sponsor. I won't be buying any merchandise with the logo as I do not agree with pay day loan companies. If he has cited something on religious grounds, then I hope the club handle it delicately. But can you see that happen when Kinnear is likely to be involved in discussions? There is a solution here, it just depends on how much the club value Cisse or if they see a chance to get his transfer fee back and get someone cheaper in.
-
Why do they think an adequate replacement will cost £15m? I think £10m and we could replace him fairly easily. And I'm not talking about Darren Bent for £8m or whatever it is Villa want for him. Graham Carr would have no problem identifying a player in that price bracket suitable for this club.
-
As things stand, we will struggle massively. No fresh faces, lack of depth up front, other teams have cottoned onto how we play and how to play against us... We need to see something new from Pardew if there aren't going to be many signings. He needs to have fresh ideas, and it can't be long ball, we're far better than using that as our plan A.
-
All the club can do is perhaps agree a deal with Wonga whereby Cisse can play without the sponsor on his kits. And if he doesn't agree to that, then it'll be clear he's angling for a move away.
-
Very concerning early signs. I hope this can resolved as, rate him or not, he is our only recognised striker at the club. I think there can be a bit of give and take from both sides on this.
-
Ah fair play, I've never been abroad.
-
Eh, what? Has there been any mention of this, at all? No, I just think when Debuchy is out injured, Santon will play right back. With Ryan Taylor out injured for the season and Tavernier inexperienced, it makes sense to move Santon over from the left and just play Haidara or M'Biwa there. Can't see Dummett being given a chance at left back, he'll just be used as emergency cover.
-
Santon will act as cover for Debuchy on the right and Haidara will come in to cover him on the left. Makes sense really, but it would halt Dummett's progression here as I can't see him getting a great amount of game time with a competition less to compete in this season.

Insane offer if true. Rooney would be being unveiled as a Chelsea player right now if I were Moyes. Mata had an insane season last time out, if I were Mourinho I'd be looking for more of the same and to shape the team to get the best out of him. But as we all know, Jose does things his own way.
-
Like all our youngsters, I hope he makes it here. He seems likeable enough and he is talented. Lot of pressure on him this season when he does get his chances though, with his injury last year and the niggly problems he's had prior to that. Best of luck to him.

I don't get it, it's plausible that he may have forgot to change his phone settings. The guys definitely full of shit like, don't even know why I've posted this.
-
Linked with Middlesbrough. Could definitely see that happen.
-
Can see Rooney at Chelsea, no idea if he'd fancy a move abroad but he'll have a few potential suitors out there if he chose that route.
-
As big a win as it was for them, that's just daft. Just buy the DVD and move on with your life.
-
Will do really well for them in the Championship and if they were to win promotion, the Premiership too. Good signing.

This seems to be popping up more and more as a regular theme. Can't people just accept Ian W has a different opinion to Pardew than most? I haven't got a problem with anyone being able to take positives from any situation, there's so much doom and gloom about here these days that it's refreshing to read a different view. This isn't directed entirely at you Eddy, it's just something I've noticed across a few threads.

Yeah it's a good tee. He looks absolutely wrecked.
-
I'll have no ill feeling towards him. I would have signed the extensions if I were in his position too. It's the men in charge who have kept him on far too long, though credit to Keegan and Allardyce for recognising he was a major weakness in our squad.
-
I hope we manage to shift him on. Somebody who could run and control the ball would be a significant upgrade. Nice guy no doubt, but he's been finished at the top level for years now, you could argue he's never been good enough. All credit to him for delaying surgery and playing on under Roeder, I won't forget his efforts. I don't think it's a case of him not giving a shit, he's just lacking talent.
-
The clubs PR team might have asked him to do it but its no different to what goes on at football clubs all around the world.

That article is full of quotes you'd find anywhere from players, don't think it's any different just because its from SD news. Just usual filler.
