Scott Parker’s left hand is going mental, he really doesn’t want to be there.

Enjoying the journey and I’m looking forward to seeing how far he can take this.

Reaping the benefits of quality coaching. He’ll come up short quality wise at times, but he gets in the right positions and he’s developed a good engine to cause teams problems. He might not be the one to play the killer ball but the off the ball movement allows others to deal the damage. I can imagine he’s a joy to coach.

Joelinton with some kind of unusual tribute to previous manager, Steve Bunce.

Fuck me man. Utterly ridiculous.

You won't get any commentary, but may just be an issue with the pitchside mics causing the echo.

All that money on a fidget spinner and a confused 12 year old, he should be under pressure to deliver the title.

Could never question Fabs commitment like.

He got his yellow card for it, but I’m all for using every advantage to gain a psychological edge. Don’t see why he has to play Mr Nice Guy and throw it directly to the pen taker so he can get settled that little bit earlier. Different circumstance obviously, but most if not every game you’ll see a player kick the ball away when conceding a free kick or throwing it away if it goes out for a throw in.

I feel like football is coming hōm.

Man is dangerously dehydrated.

For the first time in a professional game of football, Upamecano letting Messi “know he’s there” (Jermaine Jenas™) early on has failed to work.

Looks like it. His disinterested strolling doesn’t harm the team as much when he’s central.

If France don’t get a goal by half time, Argentina keep a clean sheet in this game.

I forget Allardyce was manager tbf. Think there’ll be a few current players they would look to build into the role in the future but if Southgate left now, I think it would be Steve Holland. I’d be a little worried that there’d be a bit of a clamour for Gerrard to be given it.

The next England manager is already part of the set up unless Howe/Potter express an interest which I doubt. That’s the way the FA decided to do things after the Iceland defeat and they won’t steer away from it.

I don’t know how Southgate is getting stick here. Saka and Foden put the miles in, he absolutely had to make those changes.

Disappointing to go out but they left everything out there.

you little bugger.

First big duel lost, though valiant effort from Southgate to try and get me to turn the tv down.
-
He’s fit to play if called upon.

I’ve been having brief moments where I’ve remembered about the game, and even talking about this today at work it hasn’t really struck anything with me. Until now. Right now, I’m shitting it.
