Busy clearing out the loft and stuff ahead of (hopefully) moving house end july/early August and found a few of my older Toon shirts I thought I'd lost, but they were in a big bag with loads of my sons clothes. 2005-07 Home Shirt (Adidas Gold Northern Rock) 2005-06 Third Shirt (Adidas Blue & White) 2006-07 Away Shirt (Maroon & Blue) 2009-10 Home Shirt (Adidas Championship) 2010-11 Home Shirt (First Puma Shirt) Also a Blue NUFC Adidas Polo Shirt from 2005 or 2006, with Northern Rock on the collar.

Sam better start watching his letterbox.

Paul Gascoigne. First NUFC matches I went to were in his standout season 1987-88 when he became the new local hero. Pity he left that following summer!

Albert Interviewing Rafa back in 2018... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/uk-england-tyne-44093358

Aw, RIP Albert from Wooler.

Forget the football, catchment areas, airports, shopping centres, etc.... Its all about the biggest concerts now, Marra.... NE Concert Top Dogs TM

That wasn't him, was it? Thought he'd agreed Lindgard could go, but the higher ups / board veto'd it?
-
Ah right, me old memory aint what it was. Thought it was the return fixture once Pardew had replaced Hughton, and forgot they still had Bruce the following season.
-
Which of course, they didn't (Ryan taylor over the wall at the SoS).

Probably thinking we've just signed a different Joelinton, as surely he can't be the same lad he had in his team, week after week? Add to that the others already here who have improved under Howe... 'like new signings' so he's probably included their costs in Howe's spend too!

Bit of Humble Pie from Simon Jordan earlier today...

I have a feeling that subject to a suitable bid and whoever else we bring in this summer, that ASM is gone. Didn't look happy coming off yesterday.

If we are looking to maximise the sponsorship revenue, whilst the PL/other clubs try to limit to how much we can earn for shirt sponsorship, why not do what Spurs have done and have a separate training kit sponsor? Aramco on the Team kits, Saudi Golf on the Training Kit, or a similar mix of sponsors?
-
Wasn't even booked for it either though, was he?

Amazing turnaround, and a real achievement to finish with 49pts given what he (Howe) inherited. If's and but's, but if we hadn't drawn those 3 games against Man Utd, Watford and Norwich at home when winning, then we'd have finished 8th with 55pts.

Whey, most of them ownly get one bath a year... and todays the day!

Aye, that'd be better than the alternative... again...

Excellent performance and result, really. Couple of things that have probably been mentioned, 2nd half Arsenal had a chance and 3 newcastle players threw themselves at the ball and blocked the effort. Shows the commitment and will to win or at the least try to preserve the clean sheet that we have now. But also noticed when Trippier was warming up 2nd half, Arsenal had a flurry of 2 or 3 corners and Trippier clearly stood in line with the box, but marshalling and organising from the touchline. Just brilliant. Not even on the pitch, but being an influence. Give him the armband next season.

So leaked photos from a Turkish twitter account of an unconfirmed shirt is now 'confirmed' as the new Kit by the DM? Let the fyewm commence. EDIT: Also... "Newcastle are set to turn out in GREEN and white next season" Pretty sure that leaked shirt is WHITE and Green, or am I being pedantic?

So, next seasons shirt, stadium, club sponsor. Imagine... https://news.sky.com/story/saudi-aramco-overtakes-apple-as-worlds-most-valuable-company-12611176

Meh, that away shirt is just a nod to the 1999-2000 away shirt which was also white with green trim.
