Barely literate. Another post on there... "Don't give a sh*t about what the unwashed barcodes are doing in the 2nd tear of English football" As he posts on one of the numerous thread about us... completely missing the irony

Reports this morning that Sp*rts Direct are to change their working practices, following the recent Parliamentary intervention... http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/business/business-news/business-breakfast-live-sports-direct-11842022 This following the apparent changes in approach at NUFC, too... Seems like Mike Ashley may have had something of an epiphany??!!! Or more like he's finally been found out on all sides, and realises it may be last chance saloon?? Whatever it is, lets hope it continues, and he doesn't revert to type.

Think most of the schools are back tomorrow, too.

I'm not really bothered what he does from here on in. He wasn't (and hasn't been for a while) interested in being here, and we will be getting £30m off Spurs for him. He may step up and show his true worth, or he may become another Cabaye or Debuchy after getting their 'dream move' away from us.

Mackems whining about the pesky 'magedia' again... "This Newcastle Obsession With Sunderland’s Transfer Window Tells A Tragic Tale" http://rokerreport.sbnation.com/2016/9/4/12790910/this-newcastle-obsession-with-sunderland-s-transfer-window-tells-a

We need Steve Bruce back in a club job. If cack isn't playing/making the bench, he'll have him. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Indeed... and even SSN had a goal against us running on repeat on the headlines board behind the presenters. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Has he done one to Everton, too?

Was this not sorted last night on the thread? Someone tweeted the reporter who confirmed that we will get the full £30m.... just that if Spurs sell him before the 5 years are up, they have to factor the amount owed into his next deal... i.e. they either get next club to pay it off for them,. or they keep paying us for him. Either way, we aren't going to lose out on this deal. It'll be a similar situation to when bent left the Mackems for Villa... the mackems still owed money to spurs for him when he was sold...

Sissoko saying a move to Everton was never gonna happen, saying he only saw on TV that a deal had been agreed??!! http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/moussa-sissoko-leaving-newcastle-united-11834005

I remember the quotes about fees... cant remember exactly when it was, but thinkit was after relegation in 2009. Said something about now paying fees upfront, as the club was still paying fees for players who'd left (think Owen was an example) becasue of how Shepherd had structured deals. Then it went on to say they'd accept fees in installments, as it guaranteed an ongoing income for the club. But then, thought the Carroll fee was an exception where they demanded a certain amount of it to be paid upfront.

Scanning along the rows/faces and then....

If that payment thing is right, I might go and buy a new car and try that... Take the finance on a 5 year deal, pay the first year, then sell it and tell the finance company i'm not gonna pay the last 4 years as I don't have it anymore.... tough! Hehe. Spurs

Brilliant interview and quotes. Such a sea change in attitude/approach from our last few 'managers/head coaches'.

3.5 years wasn't it? Joined us January 2013.

I remember Nolan saying he advised Carroll to join Liverpool, that whilst he was still our captain!!

I think Moussa has a sh*tload of pressure on him now, after this move. Pundits and reporters are already mocking the fee, given his contribution on the pitch for us last season... and we know it wasn't just last season. Then there is the whole farce and treatment of Everton yesterday. Think his performances are going to be scrutinised even more now, so he's going to have to perform week in/out - especially now he has his Champions League wish, too. John Anderson has long questioned his ability to perform under pressure, so it'll be interesting to see how it pans out.
