That sounds remarkably illegal. aye, absolute weapons grade horse-s**** from Stfiler like. He's right. The match in question was against Charlton Athletic at the SoS in 2003. They scored 3 own goals in the first half hour and were 3-0 down and 1000s of them tried to leave but they refused to open the big exit gates to let them out and made them stay until the 60 odd minute mark before allowing them to leave. Chris Kamara was doing the match on soccer Saturday and couldn't speak for laughing. They ended up losing the match 3-1 and finished the season bottom of the league with a miserly 19 points. fair enough, sorry Stifler. That's absolutely ridiculous  Aye, its defo true... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2003/feb/03/match.sport10

This is one thread, about our rivals, on a Newcastle forum. It's all in context unlike their mass thread starting craziness. People who go to RTG for their daily fix of laughs aren't obsessed. It's comical observation and no different than someone visiting redit, clickhole (some other shitty place)etc etc for their daily fill. I don't post in this thread much...but I read it...and laugh. Doubt anyone would say it's one way traffic...but to suggest it's equal is far more naive (not saying you're personally suggesting it). The 'obsessed' thing gets bandied about too much, and whilst it may be true of some supporters on both sides, I think the overriding trait from them is Bitterness towards us. As long as I can remember, Sunderland supporters have always had a massive chip on their shoulder about anything 'Newcastle' or 'Tyneside', and that chip is only getting bigger/worse. A fairy irregular glance at their forum will always see threads about 'Mags' or 'Newcastle'... its like they just try and think of ways to bitch about the club, the supporters or the city/area. Again, some would call this obsession, but almost all of the posts in these threads include a huge amount of bitterness, which I think is a better word for it.

FFS.... Howay then, lets make this like the Reading match.

Cracking... just seen the goal on SSN. Lets hope we can put these to bed while we are on top, instead of missing chances as we did at Villa.

With regard to Newcastle, strikes me as somewhat odd that he signed Bolton players and was signing players he had initially planned to sign for Bolton. He was also sacked during a period where Chris Mort and his team we auditing all of the clubs accounts and business dealings. His only signing from Bolton for us was Abdoulaye Faye. Nolan was signed by Kinnear a year after he'd gone. These were his signings for us... http://www.nufc.com/2016-17html/transfers-allardyce.html

Thats after last nights results. Win tonight and we could go back to 3rd??!! Still too early to be panicking yet, IMO.

Oh aye, they'll have him back alright.... anything to try and get that 17th place finish again. SMB - 'Sunderland Morally Bankrupt'

Hehe... handbags on Good Morning Britain between Piers Morgan and Jason Cundy just then. Cundy basically saying Sam was a victim of entrapment, and why should we (England) and the FA be 'whiter than white' when the Russians and other football federations do what they like?? Also said Sam should have just been given a slap on the wrist. According to the likes of Cundy (and Dowie), its not Sams fault he went to a shady meeting weeks after getting his 'dream job' and started making his big daft gob go into overdrive.

SSN: Derby have requested Nigel Pearson does not take charge of tonight's match. Could he be one of the managers?
-
They must have had an idea he'd go for it though. And this isnt the first time he's been targetted for something like this, but he managed to slime his way out of it before. Did this happen just after he was appointed as England Manager? If so, thats just crazy, and so arrogant of him to do that after finally getting the job he's been after for years??!! You would think being caught telling people how to break FA rules as England Manager would make his position untenable, and then that would surely be the end of his mangerial career?

Newcastle United promoted back to the Premier League
TK-421 replied to Figures 1-0 Football's topic in Football
Aye, it was disappointing not to put Villa to bed in that first half, considering the possesion and chances (and half chances) we had. But, I think I'd be more concerned if we weren't creating the chances, rather than just missing them. Hopefully one or two players will be on extra shooting / one-on-one practice before the next match. I'm still not getting too carried away or worried about our form yet. Unlike my Brighton supporting Boss who is suddenly full of it again, now they are back in the top 3. He'd been very quiet about their form since we beat them up here. He of all fans should know better than shouting too early about going up! Its a long season in this league, and as long as we are thereabouts at Christmas, we can hopefully add any reinforcements needed in January, to push on for the 2nd half of the season. -
Mackem at work is blaming Moyes today... saying its him who picks the team, and made the subs on saturday that saw then surrender a 2-0 lead. Hehe, if the general feeling is the same across the fanbase, then his days are numbered if they don't win shortly. Really will be a ridiculous record of sacking/changing managers if they do get rid, like.

Just watched it on the MOTD repeat... Moyes blaming the players again in his post match comments
-
Paying the price for all them chances... its been coming since that offside header, we've gradually sat deeper and let them come onto us.
-
FFS... theres the warning. Need to put these to bed.
-
These are terrible, like. We should be at least 2 or 3 up by now. Lets hope we don't rue the missed chances.

GET INN!! Looks like an OG

Every season since Bruce was sacked in 2011 I think Not far off. Think O'Neill got just over 2 years and Poyet got about 18 months. All other have been appointed as a fire fighter and sacked not long into the new season.

I know its Palace and Pardew, but that is so funny after they were 2-0 up.

Creased. We could put up 2 or 3 teams from the same time frame that would annihilate that heap of s***. We could probably put up worse teams that have challenged for silverware* and/or played in Europe! * The 1998 & 1999 Cup final teams were nowt to shout about at the time!
