Been out with the family all day, came back in to this. Unbelievable decision, and just heard the man himself (JFK) on SSN. Where does this leave Graham Carr, if JFK reckons he is gonna be the one looking at/for players?

"To coincide with the launch of Sunderland's brand new away kit, safc.com asked fans to reflect upon their favourite away days." Wonder how many fans they managed to find, who were actually there, 105 years ago?
-
Actually, looking at it again, its only SIX results - repeated to form a longer list!
-
Small time c***s. Dear Me. A wall (or part of) with a list of 'memorable' results, as backdrop for a shirt launch. Small Time indeed.

2014/15 NUFC Kits - New third kit revealed on page 143

There is definitely a big difference between the two tops. The ebay one seems to have switched to a mainly black back, but on top of that, on the hanger shirt, the main seven stripes are still there on the front without being cut off by the blue. I know neither are great pics, but the blue bits seem a lighter shade of blue on the 2nd one, too. -
Brilliant Journalism from the Chronic today... http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/fraser-forster-heads-back-england-4022179 So after all that, he isn't actually 'heading back to England to save his international career'??!!
-
Aye...or loan him out. If its about wages, surely if he wants to play so badly, he'd take a cut for game time?
-
Haha... there was a crazy italian/geordie bloke called 'Frankie' who rang TotalSport last night raving about him, and saying we should be in for him instead of Carroll, as he's going to Arsenal for nothing.
-
Was that from day one though? It seems Di Canio has gone in there with all guns blazing, spouting off in the media to anyone who'll listen, which is probably the biggest mistake I think... making all this public.
-
Hehe, I noticed that too.... "return the famous Gallowgate End to its former glory."

We have had home shirts with 'pointless'blue bits/trim before, which had no bearing/link to the sponsor though, so who knows.... I really don't think the addition of blue trim and/or a blue away kit is really too much to do with Wonga... I could be wrong though. -
This is gonna be fun, like. He's trying to change the attitudes and lifestyles of Premiership footballers.... it can only end in tears.

Oh wow... http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showpost.php?p=15131055&postcount=27 "i was there .the crowds ,when ariving back in sunderland, where amazing. the road up to the sol, from well before the halfway house, where lined both sides with fans clapping the coaches back home.felt like i was on a victory parade bus after winning the cup .

Didn't realise Lazio had two ex-mackems there... Cana & Saha... if you can count Saha as one, given the amount of actual appearances he made.

They always are, man. Well, for us the last 2 years they have been. But I've seen a few convincing ones recently (Chelsea springs to mind) that turned out to be wrong. -

So it looks like the leaked photos were accurate, then. FWIW, I think that away shirt is ok... ...lets hope its luckier than the Burgundy one!! -
I see the Pardew phone-in on Total Sport has been 'postponed till a date after the Arsenal match'. That'll be because Ando was inviting people to ring in on Friday and ask 'difficult' questions (after people were saying the difficult questions wouldn't get through/asked).

As others have said, i'd say CUP. We've gone down a few times in my 39yrs, but came back within a year or three. I've yet to see us win a major trophy. Though admittedly, this was kinda awesome... http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2008/12/18/article-1097253-02D723F1000005DC-330_224x423.jpg

It will make the last day a bit more interesting if Wigan win. Otherwise relegation and Champions League qualification will be pretty much decided. Aye, this weekends MOTD is gonna be a bit boring without the highlights cutting between 3 or 4 different matches as the 'drama unfolded'. HOWAY WIGAN!!!!

At least the BBC have it right... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22417786 "Ten-man Newcastle guaranteed Premier League survival as they came from behind to defeat QPR at Loftus Road."
