I've seen Messi play well for Argentina absolutely loads of times but he's been really bad so far tonight
-
I literally didn't even know what they were checking until after it was given
-
Messi goal penalty via VAR. It was an unlucky handball but was preventing a possible goal so fair enough IMO
-
Argentina are so thick when they go one down. Panic like fuck and leave nobody back for the counter. Reminds me of when Boca brought their keeper up for a corner with 7 minutes to go in the last Copa Libertadores final
-
Are they? 3rd will get through in 2 groups
-
Systems with them have also been ass
-
Paraguayan number 15 is a great shithouse
-
Only ten minutes but actually think this is a bit better by Argentina. Look like an actual team for the first time I remember in ages. Paredes and Lo Celso has potential as a midfield

Such a freak Sarri should be an inspiration to all football fans. Started off in the eighth tier of Italian football while working as a banker and never gave up and 25 years later he got a chance with his hometown club, one of the biggest clubs in Italy and did exceptionally there. Wonder how many winners medals Rafa or Mourinho, the only managers you seem to rate would have if they started off at Stia in the Italian 8th division Rafa started in the Segunda División and won 2 league titles at that level & won the English version of that level with us Then went onto win the Spanish league 2 times knocking Barcelona and Real Madrid off their perch and won the Champions League and 2 Europa Leagues. Rafa Benitez has far bigger achievements than Sarri has achieved at the same age. Rafa Benitez is a winner at every level is Sarri? No. Yes, the Spanish second division at the biggest club in the world's B team is the exact same thing as the Italian 8th division

Not sure if he's injured but pity Juan Quintero isn't in the Colombia squad. Such a lovely player Edit: Torn ACL apparently

Irish keeper got sent off in the World u17s for being a similar distance off the line last year
-
Chelsea's ban was nothing to do with FFP
-
Euro u21 would be so great if teams brought all players eligible. France's front 3 would be Ousmane Dembele Kingsley Coman and Mbappe
-
Abraham's hold up play is pretty poor from what I've seen
-
The natural position shite came in long before VAR
-
Van De Beek would be where Ayoze is like. His main attributes are getting into really good positions in the box and pressing high up the pitch Obviously not going to happen anyway
-
PSG. Don't think de Gea is rated that highly in Spain. Has lost his place to Kepa now for them
-
Yeah can’t see them improving that much if he continues to neglect signing better defensive players this Summer His sides are always terrible without the football his Malaga side conceded 68 goals not sure he’ll ever have West Ham defending properly. Probably begged Kompany this summer to help him out. Their defenders are alright, could do with a right back but fine other than that. They just play very openly. Feel like you'd prefer if every team just parked the bus in every game

Both Qatar goals were canny in different ways

Cracking atmosphere for an u21 game
