  1. Does anyone seriously think he'd have left if Rafa was still here? Any half decent player will be looking for a way out. £30m sounds like a lot but we'll waste it on poorly scouted £6m 21 yr old hopefuls. I barely gave the story a second glance tbh, just past caring at this point. He was making noises about leaving while Rafa was still here like
  2. Lejeune can't wear them everyday and expect them to hold up, gotta take them off every now and then
  3. Nasri going to Anderlecht. Not sure how they’re affording that
  4. Loved him. Think I had him as my avatar for a while

    Graham Carr

While he was still at Arab Contractors too
  6. He's going to end up copping a load of unnecessary flak because he's found himself in a position he didn't want to be in. Likewise Redfearn to an extent. They could always resign. They won't exactly be millionaires, they're not just going to resign without a better offer from somewhere else
  7. Atletico surely gonna break some kind of record for player sales this window

    Copa America 2019

If that is true than theyve been really poor lately. Nothing special from them last night. Lots of complains about the ref but he was lettibg them tackle for fun last night. VAR really messed up that Otamendi oenalty however, but thought Brazil looked as they’ve done under Tite, organized and efficient (not counting that game against Belgiun). They have been really poor lately Last night was a 50:50 game up until I stopped watching after the second goal IMO

    Copa America 2019

Looked like Juan Foyth just stopped playing in the lead up to that goal. Absolutely clown, goodnight
  11. Ayoze Perez isn't Mexican you absolute nutsack. What are you on about He knows he isn’t Mexican. Think he used it as a joke once and got some encouragement so kept it up

    Copa America 2019

Argentine have kept the same starting line up for the first time in 40 games
  17. He’s done fuck all since. He’s shite He took Everton to the brink of the Champions League. He also likes playing from the back. Schar & Lejeune would enjoy playing under him you’d think. Yeah like they did under Rafa He would also carry on our 3-4-2-1 too. Martinez and Quique Setien would be my two favourites for those reasons. You're an enigma You like Quique Setien and Roberto Martinez while constantly berating managers who have the exact same style as them
  18. He's better than some say but he didn't do amazing at Wigan. Steve Bruce did better. He relied on playing against teams on the beach at the end of the season about 4 years in a row to stay up Edit: Forgot about the FA Cup so better than Steve Bruce, aye but still not amazing
  19. Don't think Rodgers would want a defender as limited on the ball as Lascelles for big money

    Rafa Benítez

Some great games and days of course but mostly its been depressing because we all knew it was never going anywhere good
  21. Obviously the fee is irrelevant to us but surprised we've got that much so quickly for him. Good luck to him if he goes

Always amazed by that Simeone one. Done a great job like but still. Henry is hilarious, tax free too
  23. Che Adams seems to be a bit mad https://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/birmingham-city-transfers-che-adams-16513074 "It’s a huge club obviously we want to win the league, obviously it’s a lot to ask for but you have to set yourself new targets to hit and with the squad I saw here last season there is no reason why we can’t."

No they are not like us, they accept an owner who is using their club as a vessel to sell sports goods! In our times of trouble we rallied together against the spivs, thats why we are an Institution and NUFC are a football club. Summed up pretty well There also an "institution" who forced members of staff out for marrying Roman Catholics... and who took over 100 odd years before employing a catholic... I member reading the amount of supporters who cancelled season tickets because they signed mo Johnston.... they're an institution I would rather not be compared too Aye, they're an institution because they're bigots
