What a goal from Marcelo
-
That's an unbelievable free kick from Parejo to equalise
-
Real Madrid-Valencia is canny. Valencia should be ahead
-
I'd definitely keep one of them, as I presume if we buy a striker they will be in the Gayle mould rather than the target man mould and we could do with a big man to put on when chasing a game. Mitro preferably but not sure if he'll be happy being 3rd choice for another season
-
Should Celtic just be in a division on their own then?
-
Mixed perhaps? He's Irish marra. Played for ROI iirc. In all seriousness, he's got a Ghanian father and an Irish mother and was brought up in East London. One of our best ever footballers was black and grew up in Dublin
-
Don't particularly rate him that highly but I'd keep him as a squad player
-
Tbf if Palnese thinks it's a clear yellow then its definitely a red
-
Moyes used to be good, now he's shite
-
Yeah, I'm sure that's what he meant, especially when you put it into context with everything else he said. I know what he meant, he just used a horrible example to get his point across

Yes but I didn't say that was the reason why he wasn't one of the main problems. The reason why he wasn't one of the main problems was because there were much larger problems than him. Let's take the stick that is used to beat him most for example, his poor goals and assists ratio. Let's say us last season was comparable to Swansea, Hull and Burnley this season. How many wingers in those teams have been directly involved in 8 goals this season? Snodgrass is the only one out of those 3 teams to have more and no wingers in any of the other teams are close to that figure So you're saying that Sissoko was let down by the players around him?, in your opinion he did as well as he could do considering the lack of creativity from the rest of the side? BTW if we're going to talk about the goals Sissoko was involved in (7 assists and 1 goal) lets remember that two of those assists were against Spurs after we were relegated. I'm saying Sissoko did much better than the average winger does in a relegation team. If the rest of our team had performed similarly compared to the average relegation team we probably would have been fine. He only got 1 assist vs Tottenham btw

You're certainly not reading my post anyway because that's not what I said

He's one of the main reasons we were relegated, how can that be a great signing? He wasn't though. Much bigger issues were Anita and Colback in centre mid together for about half a season. Our left flank having absolutely no threat whatsoever for the whole season. Wijnaldum, our most talented player being absolutely anonymous for about 3/4 of the games he played in. Having no striker that could score. Having an awful defence. Having an incompetent manager for most of the season One fucking goal from a player who was there to attack the opposition. Wijnaldum was another big reason through being so shit away from home, but he did actually score a lot of goals at least. There were plenty of reasons we were relegated (notice I said ONE not reason), but if anyone thinks a lad who took up a attacking place in our side and produced the sum total of fucking nothing wasn't ONE of the main reasons we went down then frankly those people deserve to suffer the cunt coming back here. Yes the problem was that him, a player that isn't very good at attacking was expected to be our biggest attacking threat. Not his fault he was expected to be more than he's capable of and still he wasn't one of the main reasons we went down

In some aspects sure, but as great as Ronaldo is i'm not sure i'd want every right footed left winger to actually provide no width and and don't really help his full back out. It works for Ronaldo because he's so fucking good but we have seen with other rip offs that it's not something that translates to everybody. Aye I meant in the ultra professional, hard working off the pitch, getting the very most out of his ability way. If I was a coach of promising youngsters I'd be using Ronaldo's transformation in terms of physique and power as an example of what it takes to be the best

Rafa did clearly rate Sissoko though, although I would assume there's absolutely no truth to that rumour

I find it funny how the media spin things in Mourinho's favour. Doesn't play Martial for ages and then they give Mourinho credit when Martial finally gets a game and plays well. Nah, that's because he's actually a really good footballer who should have been playing all the time. Same with Mkhitaryan earlier in the season

"Too many try to model themselves on Ronaldo" Aye don't model yourself on the hardest working player in the game lads
-
Both teams looks shit IMO
